TrimGod, I did not take offense from your comments. I appreciate all feedback. As architects we like to see our download numbers and if we believe that comments can an impact that negatively, we tend to defend that. When its a machine issue its particularly frustrating because we test so much. Anyway, keep giving us feedback. I, for one, appreciate it.

i am very sorry if i offended any 1. i never intended to critize any1s work on here. i was merely saying that i and others i know, were not able to play the course. i tryed in vain to find leopards email to tell him this personally, but was unable to find it.
i have an 80 gig hd, 1 gig of memory, and a gf 5200 v/card, played on default settings. i tryed lowering the details a bit, to no avail. whistler also crashes to desktop, but those are the only 2 i have probs with.
once again, i am very sry if i offended any1.

Thanks for all the comments and feedback. I am ok with people posting problems here on my courses. I think of it from the players perspective and how frustating it must be to be in the middle of a round and having a course go to the desktop. However, before posting these errors I would appreciate an attempt at changing tree detail to medium or low. If it still fails, please message me or post it here and Ill try to help.

Great Course, HL! Playing it in sunset mode made the course very very beautiful. BTW, to those who crash, I use to have occassional crashes here and there, however ever since I lowered tree detail I dont.

in respect to any designer i feel that if you cant get a course to play the place to talk about it is not in the comment section of his course. Hardware issues cannot be helped by the designer, if you really need to exress the fact that ur card has problems sent a pm to them. to many hrs are spent designing these courses to suddenly have a debate over something the designer has absolutely no controll of. All people see is video probs, that more than likely wont effect their machine, in the comment section and pass a good course over to dl. So please in the future outta respect for someones hard work post your hardware probs in a different area and leave this area for comments about the course once youve played it, and by all means no one should rank a course unless they were able to play it. This is a killer course leopard, keep it up bud. Someone would be crazy to pass this dl up!

I agree with GreenMonster as something to try. I have tested this thoroughly and it works for me and my testers. We may have better graphics cards. Also, there is a theory that some cards do not like textures that are 256x256. So I deliberately made these 512 or 128 or 1024. Yet, you still have problems. Sigh ... I am getting frustrated that these courses dont work for all, yet I cant seem to find a common link. Ive tried stock textures, custom this and that I always optimize as much as possible. Sorry for the problems, but I am at a loss as to a good fix. The one thing I know works for most is the tree detail setting. Please try that and let me know.

screenshots look vn. crashed to desktop on 1rst hole tho. hope it gets fixed. ive heard others crashed too. would luv to play it.
