Another nicely-designed real course from MSR Golf, with plenty of undulating fairways, slight elevation changes, and a few strategically-placed water hazards near (or around) the greens, making this par 72, quite challenging, at times. On the front 9, my favorite holes are the nice par-4 2nd, along a lake (on the left) ending not too far from the green, with its blind tee shot, and the par-3 5th, with a blind and downhill tee shot over high rough, flying over a small creek, crossing the fairway diagonally, midway. Then, after two dogleg left holes (par-4 6th, par-5 7th), water is again present on the pretty par-3 8th, with a blind tee shot flying above a small mound and, hopefully, landing on the green, set next to an elongated lake (on the left), and the nice dogleg right par-4 9th, with another undulating fairway and an elongated lake, starting midway and ending next to the green (on the right). Coming back, the dogleg left par-5 10th hole will offer you a chance for an eagle if you can manage to hit your blind tee shot near or past a narrow part of the fairway, midway, and follow with a tricky approach to the green, set next to a lake (in front, on the right), before moving later on to the par-3 14th, and hitting a blind tee shot upward to the green. But the most scenic hole might be the last dogleg right par-4 18th, with its two elongated lakes framing the fairway, midway, and ending in front and not too far from the elevated green. Overall, with its wide open look, at times, this Panther Creek Country Club 2025 offers some birdie opportunities but you will have to hit some good approaches to avoid the water hazards and a few trees around (ask Golfingod about it !) to score well on this pretty rendition...

Really enjoyed my round, next time out I'm going to hide a chainsaw in my bag and take out the branches hanging from virtually every tree I ended up behind - or beside! That tree long-right of the 6th green is a monster! HA! Saw some critters on the course, that is always nice, greens were fair, and I didn't end up too many over par at the end! Thanks for the course, always enjoy your work.
