Would you like to play two courses for the “price” of one ? Then, this par 72, with its nice bay, small rolling hills and vegetation is for you with different challenges down the finishing holes. The front 9 has plenty of water holes, even if some are not too difficult, such as on the wide open par-4 1st, with a tree-lined fairway and a serpentine river behind the green, and the dogleg left par-4 4th, with water flowing past the green (and behind again). However, other holes will test you, like the pretty par-3 2nd, with a tee shot over a big lake and with a panoramic view of the ocean as you reach the sloping green, the dogleg par-5 3rd, with a fairway hugging a huge lake (on the left, and with a few trees on its bank) and a tough second shot to try to reach the green, and the nice par-4 5th, with a tee shot over a lake crossing the fairway diagonally and ending to the left of the green. Two dogleg right par-5 holes then await you, with the challenging 6th, requiring a tee shot over a little bit of water, flowing out into a lake, all along the fairway (on the right), unlike the shorter tree-lined 7th, with no water to worry about. Then, after the par-3 8th hole, you will move on to the dogleg right par-4 9th, with water (on the right) until halfway, then with bunkers lined up and with a big lake to the right of a narrow green. If two of the first three holes on the back 9 are par-4 doglegs, bending to the left, with the 10th, along a lake (and trees on its bank) branching out past the green and behind, and the 12th, around a lake, midway and with a slightly-elevated green, being the nicest, the scenery then changes drastically with the very pretty par-3 13th hole, facing the ocean and with a tee shot over marshy land encircling a green set on a small plateau. More marshland is present on the pretty dogleg left par-4 14th hole, slightly downhill all the way, before heading back inland with the dogleg left par-5 15th, with plenty of wide bunkers around the green, hard to reach on your second shot. Another beautiful hole is the par-4 16th, with a tee shot over an elongated bunker filled with shrubs (on the right) and a blind shot over another one, filled with reeds and higher bushes, framed by two small ponds, and along a lake (on the left), before finishing your round with the nice par-3 17th, along a lake (on the right) and the scenic dogleg right par-4 18th, with a tee shot over a lake and an elongated pond parallel to it, starting midway, and a slightly-uphill approach to the green. Once again, rlslay came up with another beautiful course to gaze at, with small benches, blue flowers, marshland, and nice cart paths spread along, while offering us challenging holes with plenty of water hazards to deal where you will have to think twice before hitting some of your shots.
