Another eye-pleasing course, with nice small and green rolling hills to gaze at, beautiful trees and bushes all around, and a... patchwork of wide or narrow fairways and greens, with some well-placed bunkers and water hazards to watch for. If four of the six holes are slightly-downhill doglegs (par-4 1st and par-4 4th, to the left, par-5 5th, to the right, and par-4 6th, to the left)), my favorite holes are the two par-3s, the 3rd, with a couple of trees and a bunker (on the left) and a small lake next to the narrow green (in front and to the right), and the 7th, downhill all the way and with a lake flowing across in front of the green. The back 9 is tougher, starting with the par-4 10th hole, downhill all the way but with a blind approach to the green (slightly left), set next to an elongated lake (on the right), followed by the long (more than 630 yards) dogleg right par-5 11th, with bunkers on both sides, midway, making the fairway narrower, and a second shot landing in front of a lake, flowing across in front of the wide green, and the par-3 12th, with another small lake in front of the green. The dogleg left par-5 13th is another long hole (almost 620 yards), with a downhill tee shot landing onto an undulating fairway, and an elevated green, reachable only on your third shot, and is followed by two downhill holes (par-4 14th, par-4 15th). Then, after the beautiful par-3 16th hole, with a lake in front and to the left of the green, framed by two tall trees, you will finish with the tough dogleg left par-4 18th, downhill all the way but with six bunkers on both sides, midway, making your tee shot quite tricky, not to mention your approach with another small lake in front of the green to try to avoid. With this PatchWork GC, rlslay offers us another challenging course, with its undulating fairways and plenty of bunkers around, slight elevation changes with a couple of blind shots, long par-5 holes, and a few tough approaches to the greens, guarded by either bunkers or small lakes, so that you will have enough work to patch things up with your buddies if you lose your confrontation !
