A well-designed real version, representing the 9-hole Cypress course to start and the Marsh one, coming back, quite pretty to look at, and challenging, at times, especially near the greens, with a few water hazards to watch for. My favorite Cypress holes are the par-5 2nd, with water along the left side of the tree-lined fairway, ending midway, and a flag, slightly to the left, and the par-3 3rd, with a tee shot over part of a big elongated pond. I also like the straight par-4 6th hole, with a blind tee shot over a small mound and with a small lake to watch for, next to the green (on the right), and the long par-5 8th (more than 620 yards) with a small elongated pond to watch for on the left side of the green, hard to reach on your second shot... The Marsh course has some nice holes too, starting with the dogleg right par-4 10th, with water along the left side, starting midway and ending a little bit short of the green, and continuing with the par-5 11th, with small elongated lakes framing the front of the tee box and more water on the left side, starting midway and ending near the elevated green (on the left). The par-3 13th is pretty, with a blind tee shot over a small mound, and with a big elongated lake (on the right), just like the scenic par-3 17th, with its small lake (and a fountain) on the left side, midway, and its sloping green. You will complete your round with one last eagle opportunity on the dogleg left par-5 18th hole, if you can manage to clear the wetlands on your tee shot and on your approach to the green, guarded by a small serpentine lake in front (on the left) and ending behind. Thank you, once again, MSR Golf for making this par 72 fun to play and for... changing the par-3 hole from a par-4 to the real par 3 (and thanks also, for having the comments section back, so that I can write my latest novel, ha, ha !)
