Both A and B versions are basically the same in terms of flag placements and scoring, and you should not have too many problems on this nicely-designed course, with plenty of trees, but not overly difficult with plenty of straight fairways and hardly any bunkers all along to worry about. The front 9 has more interesting holes, starting with the par-4 1st, with its narrow tree-lined and winding fairway, getting narrower as you reach the green, slightly to the right, and continuing with the par-3 3rd, with a serpentine creek running past the green (on the right). Water is present again on the dogleg left par-4 4th hole, with a tee shot over a creek, splitting the fairway diagonally, and an uphill approach to the green, and on the straight par-4 5th, with a tricky approach over a creek crossing the fairway, in front of the green. Last, but not least, you will have to be careful on the dogleg right par-5 7th hole, with its tree-lined fairway and a couple of bunkers guarding the entrance of the green. Coming back, the straight par-4 11th hole is worth mentioning, with its narrow and undulated fairway and its slightly-elevated green, partially hidden by trees (on the left), just like the straight par-4 14th, with a narrow green, surrounded by three bunkers, but reachable with your driver. As for the second par-5 hole on this course, you should have another eagle opportunity as the green can be reached on your second shot. Needless to say, this CGX Shaughnessy G&CC 2011 B course lacks some exciting holes and, despite a couple of water hazards (not really dangerous), this par 70 is not one of my favorites, but that does not take away the nice job done by the CGX team...

As you can see there is a A and B version of this course, both versions are the same, only the flag position on the green is different.
Important note: a lot of CGX courses are only playable from the: PRO tees The cgx designers created courses in high tempo, so they only made the pro tees playable. So in TW08 you have to select the PRO tees.
Another note: Maybe there are versions of these courses already on Coursedownloads by others, most of whom were designers on the CGX Design Team.
