If this course is not the most thrilling one you will ever play, it runs smoothly and, with narrow fairways, a few water holes to deal with, and plenty of bunkers around the (often) slightly-elevated greens, it is tougher than it looks. As expected, the nicest holes are the ones where water comes into play, such as on the dogleg left par-4 opening hole, with a creek running along on the right side of the fairway and crossing it, midway, and over which you will have to hit your approach toward the green. Then, after the tricky par-3 3rd hole, with four bunkers surrounding the green, water is visible again on the next three holes, starting with the dogleg right par-4 5th, with a narrow fairway and a short approach over a winding creek, the scenic and tough par-3 6th, with a serpentine creek flowing in front and halfway around the green (on the left), and the pretty par-4 7th, with a creek winding its way along the fairway (on the right), then across, not too far from a slightly-elevated green. The back 9 starts with the straight par-4 10th hole, with a slightly-downhill tee shot and another approach over a creek to reach the green, and continues with the nice par-3 11th, with a tee shot flying past a serpentine creek, right in front of the green, surrounded by three bunkers. The par-5 13th, on the other hand, is a risk/reward hole, with a tee shot landing short (or past ?) the creek, crossing the fairway, midway, leaving you with a long second shot toward the slightly-elevated green, guarded by six bunkers. Then, after the very short and straight par-4 14th hole, with a downhill tee shot and uphill approach to the elevated green, you will face the challenging par-3 15th, with a small pond to the right of the small L-shaped green, before finishing, after the straight par-4 16th, with two dogleg right par-4 holes, with the 18th, being the nicest with a downhill tee shot and uphill approach to the steeply-elevated green. With no spectacular panorama to look at, this well-designed CGX Oak Hill East course takes you back to the basics and you will just have to concentrate on your game, especially on the par-3 holes and other ones where water is present, if you want to finish below par.

As you can see there is a A and B version of this course, both versions are the same, only the flag position on the green is different.
Important note: a lot of CGX courses are only playable from the: PRO tees The cgx designers created courses in high tempo, so they only made the pro tees playable. So in TW08 you have to select the PRO tees.
Another note: Maybe there are versions of these courses already on Coursedownloads by others, most of whom were designers on the CGX Design Team.
