A well-designed course, not spectacular with that Innisbrook panorama, but it plays smoothly and has quite a few challenging water holes. On the front 9, I like the nice par-3 2nd hole, with a tee shot over an elongated lake and all along a little creek (on the right) flowing past the green, the short left dogleg par-5 5th, with a second shot over a serpentine creek flowing from the left and ending in front of the small green, and the right dogleg par-4 6th, with a tee shot over that serpentine lake and a green, next to it. But my favorite hole is the beautiful par-3 8th, with a nice panoramic view as you reach its peninsula green, followed by the pretty but not too difficult par-4 9th, slightly downhill all the way and with a wide lake on the right. Coming back, after the right dogleg par-5 11th hole, with a tee shot over a serpentine river in front of the tee box (landing near a wide bunker, in the middle of the fairway), and another shot over the water to reach the green, the last four holes are pretty and quite challenging. It starts with the par-3 15th, with a tee shot over a big pond in front of the green and continues with the picturesque par-4 16th hole, with a very wide sandy area, midway on the right of the narrow fairway and ending near the green. Then, after the right dogleg par-4 17th hole, with a second shot over a winding lake, you will finish with the gorgeous and short left dogleg par-5 18th, with a tee shot over water branching out from the wide lake and a tricky second shot over more water to reach its tiny green. Overall, despite a few slightly-elevated greens and a couple of well-placed bunkers and water hazards, this par 72 is not the most difficult course you will ever play, but it is fun which is exactly what Jack Nicklaus had in mind after designing this real Annandale course.

Many thanks once again to all involved for even more CGX designs. Course looks great and as an added bonus plays both expert and advanced with plenty of wind a real fun challenge.

As you can see there is a A and B version of this course, both versions are the same, only the flag position on the green is different.
Important note: a lot of CGX courses are only playable from the: PRO tees The cgx designers created courses in high tempo, so they only made the pro tees playable. So in TW08 you have to select the PRO tees.
Another note: There are versions of these courses already on Coursedownloads by others, most of whom were designers on the CGX Design Team.
