Not a whole lot better than a real course by MSR! Played great, agree with Holein1 regarding the scenic views and difficulty, but thoroughly enjoyed the round, and you can't do much better than that! Thanks as always.

Another nicely-designed real course from MSR Golf, not too difficult with hardly any obstacles in the way of your tee shots, but with a few water hazards to spice up your round on your way to the 18th green. After the right dogleg par-4 1st hole, most of my favorite holes have water to contend with, such as on the left dogleg par-4 4th, with a small pond in front of the green, and on the right dogleg par-5 5th, with a little creek across the fairway, in front of the green. But the most scenic ones are the beautiful left dogleg par-5 8th, hugging a lake (and its two small fountains, on the left), with a downhill tee shot and a nice approach toward the green (set next to the water), and the very pretty par-3 9th, with a tee shot over the lake and the fountain. On the back 9, the best is for last again, with the two par-4 right dogleg holes, the 17th, with an approach over a small pond in front of the green, and the 18th, going back along the same lake seen on the par-5 8th hole. Needless to say, this par 72 is easier than some of MSR’s other courses (as you will have eagle opportunities on all the par-5 holes), but that should not stop you from being keen on playing this Keene Trace GC !
