Had a great time on the course, Micko. I got it a few times, it got me a few times, as it should be in golf! Thanks for another really fine course.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then no need, this time (ha, ha !), to go into a lot of details as Micko posted quite a few pictures which will show you that this well-designed Royal Pines (real) course, pretty to look at, is not overly difficult, despite plenty of lakes, spread mostly along the fairways on both sides. This par 72 is, in fact, a combination of two courses, with the first 9 holes coming from the Green course, with my favorites being the par-4 4th, with its green set next to the lake (on the left), and the par-3 5th, along the lake (on the left), offering a really nice panoramic view as you reach the green. I also like the par-4 7th hole, with its fairway framed by two lakes linked by a small creek over which you will have to hit your approach to reach the green, and the par-5 9th, with its green, surrounded behind by more water. Coming back (on the Gold course), I like the par-5 12th hole, with the first part of the fairway, hugging a lake on the left, and its green set next to another elongated lake to watch for (on the right), and the par-3 16th, with a tee shot over part of a small elongated lake (in the shape of a duck’s head in front of the green). Overall, as you will see in the following link below, Micko did a very good job recreating this Royal Pines course (take a look at the RACV hotel...) and if you can avoid quite a few bunkers near and/or around the greens, you should finish with a decent scorecard on this Royal Pines course before heading (if you are not too tired), to the nearby... Surfers Paradise !

Good work Micko. I was pleased with the course, challenging but not too much.

Had the pleasure of testing this one played it online , advanced, dry, breezy, difficult pins etc, and the course looks great and is a very fair challenge that I enjoy. Many thanks once again for sharing with us all.
