Hi, lovely course, think it needs us to play a round on each wind setting to appreciate the test, some percentage golf needed on some holes, and a few testing putts chucked in too, well done, Steve

Well, Micko did it again with this beautiful course, offering breathtaking wide open views with its small wooded mountains as a panorama, nice condominiums (and their red roofs) perched on rocky hilltops, up-and-down doglegs, with quite a few water hazards to watch for, and a very pretty rotunda-shaped clubhouse. You will start your round with two nice holes, the left dogleg par-4 with a fairway, set between villas next to a road (on the left) and an elongated lake on the right, and the right dogleg par-5 2nd hole, with those nice apartment buildings on a rocky hilltop beyond the green. On the par-3 4th hole, you will have to hit your tee shot over a small lake winding its way in front of the elevated green, before walking over to the right dogleg par-4 5th, where you will need to hit a blind tee shot over trees and wide bunkers (ending halfway) before firing your approach shot toward the slightly-elevated green. If the par-5 6th hole is nice and slightly-elevated, with a small pond to the right side of the green, framed behind by a couple of small rocks (with nice flowers around), I prefer the pretty right dogleg par-4 9th, with a blind and downhill tee shot landing close to a wide lake (with a rocky island, filled with high grass and shrubs in the middle) and a slightly-elevated approach to the green, with that big rotunda-shaped clubhouse, mentioned above... Two left dogleg holes await you on the back 9, starting with the par-4 10th and its tiny creek, splitting the fairway, midway, and an elevated green, being my favorite, despite the pretty panoramic views of the condominiums on the hilltop on the par-5 11th. As for the last three holes, they are pretty and quite challenging : the par-4 16th is a right dogleg, with a blind tee shot over some trees flying above an elongated lake, and landing onto a narrow fairway (with a tough approach to the green, next to the lake on the right, and behind), the long par-3 17th can spell trouble if you choose the wrong club as your tee shot will have to fly over an elongated lake (ending to the right of the green) to have a chance for a birdie, before finishing with the par-4 18th, with a narrow fairway hugging an elongated lake (to the right), ending halfway, and a tricky approach over more water to reach the green. While this Kreutzwald course is not too difficult, it is definitely another keeper and you should enjoy your trip to Germany, thanks again to Micko's talented imagination...
