The CLS stuff is supposed to be packed into one file which the installer looks for, but the earliest courses I made with new CLS things starting with Sylven Glen were left partially unpacked (some things weren't working when packed), so I asked users to manually copy over the unpacked files. In more recent courses, I was able to fully pack the CLS stuff into one file, so the recent courses install properly.
The sound on Honolulu was done using a SND configuration file. There should be a file called SND in the main Honolulu directory. Additionally, the instructions inside the course zip file explain you have to drag over the 'courses' folder. That places the actual sounds on your computer where the game can find them.
If you don't hear sound, it's because either the SND file is missing or the sounds in the courses folder didn't get placed properly.

Quietly, I downloaded Honolulu Shores and Downtown at Sylven Glen. Just a few questions please. When I downloaded City Center, I used TW08 Caddie to install it and apparently, it installed everything because I have the moving cars and train, etc. I used the same installer on the other two courses but had to also do what you suggested as far as moving folders and installing the CLS folder in order to get the special features. Not sure why TW08 Caddie worked for one but not the others but that is ok since I have them working. The City and Downtown courses have great sound effects, but I cannot hear traffic or waves on the Honolulu course. Perhaps it is not there or maybe I still did something wrong. Any ideas? Thank you. That Par 3 course is a tough one!

Actually I don't drink coffee, but thanks anyways.
If you liked the city atmosphere, be sure to try Honolulu Shores Resort and Downtown at Sylven Glen GC if you haven't already.
Honolulu isn't entirely surrounded by buildings but does play along a city front, and Sylven Glen is quite similar in feel to City Center except it's a par 3 course set in fictional Toronto.

Coming from a big city, I thoroughly enjoyed playing this course. It's a brilliant concept and beautifully done, with an amazing atmosphere! I've had too much fun on this one! Quietly, how can I buy you a cup of coffee as a thank you?

Another amazing course from Quietly, with plenty of his trademarks (moving cars and train, to name a few…) spread along this NY city course, beautiful to look at with its skyscrapers and fallen leaves, and quite challenging with some rollercoaster and/or narrow fairways, water hazards and a few sloped greens, sometimes hard to read. My favorite holes on the front 9 are the left dogleg par-5 2nd, with a tough and long second shot toward the elevated green, guarded by three small bunkers in front, the pretty par-3 3rd, with a beautiful panoramic view of the Big Apple as you reach its downhill green (surrounded by small bunkers), and the right dogleg par-4 7th, with a big bunker in the right corner (and a tree next to it on the left) and a big lake on the left, ending next to the green. The last two par-5 holes are challenging too : on the left dogleg 8th, you will need to hit your tee shot over a wide and elongated lake followed by an uphill approach to reach the green, before moving on to the straight 9th hole, a little bit tricky with its very narrow tree-lined fairway. The back 9 starts with the gorgeous straight par-4 10th hole, with a green, surrounded halfway by water, and a beautiful view of the NY traffic further back, and continues with the short par-3 11th, slightly uphill with a big bunker behind the green. The finishing stretch is not only tough, it is also pretty. The par-5 14th hole is quite long (more than 600 yards), with a rollercoaster and narrow fairway and an elevated green (very hard to reach on your second shot), whereas the signature right dogleg par-4 16th hole is simply gorgeous, with a... moving train passing by on the overhead railroad track above an elongated lake (in the left corner), ending next to the green. Another very long (more than 630 yards) and challenging hole is the right dogleg par-5 17th, with a tee shot landing in the corner between bunkers (on the left) and a small pond (on the right), and an elevated green too far too reach on your second shot, before finishing with the much “easier” but picturesque par-3 18th hole, with its very wide green, partially surrounded by water. Needless to say, with its gorgeous skyline, colorful trees and fallen leaves, this par 72 is a definite keeper and you should hurry to download it to enjoy another wonderful creation from Quietly that will make you feel good. After all, you know what they “say” : “A (big) apple a day keeps the doctor away” !

Quietly's courses just resonate with me, they play the way I expect a course to play, and they are beautiful to look at. This one is no exception. Thanks so much for producing such fine art, Quietly.
