Everyone talks about the beauty of Augusta, but I believe this course may surpass it! Absolutely stunning scenery, atmosphere and play, along with unexpected challenges that make this course much more exciting! This is definitely one of my favorites and I am looking forward to playing this under varying course settings. Thank you, Micko!

Tried to use this on Golf4Fun Tour KO tournament. Some people played in OK. But, too many people had the course crash, including me. Same symptoms as others.

Played this course with original cls and with the new cls and had no problems with either. This is a very nice course - plays great and looks great. Thanks for sharing.

I just tried it again with the new CLS file. It again crashed after 3 holes. The player seems to float and the background is not loaded. Too bad. I deleted it

There are any number of things that can cause crashing issues. Several of my courses are almost as large as this course; size alone is not always the problem. Over planting can be an issue, especially if you place two plants almost directly on top of themselves. Also, you have used a large number of libraries. The more libraries you use, the more the game has to load and access when playing the course. Also, you appear to have used stock libraries from 06, 07 and 08 (assuming Aviara is 07). I know there are sometimes conflicts with the different years stock libraries. I believe 07 was the year that sometimes caused problems. I could be wrong on which year it was, but as a rule, I try to avoid the earlier stock libraries.

I can only apologise for the course crashing. It is a very large file for a TW08 course. Please understand that the course runs for me and I had it tested by two other members without any issues, so I do not know exactly where the problem is other than the amount of detail which I suspect is the reason. Try lowering the tree and grass detail in the game settings.

Also had to do with crashing at the second or third hole. A humble question to Micko: can that be fixed? You know I'm a fan who downloaded all your other courses, admired them and played then with much pleasure.

Tried 3 times to play this course and 3 times it crashed. I'm not the only one this has happened too.

A gorgeous rendition of the famous Aviara course, with beautiful plantings (especially those pink trees), nice houses and roads, well-placed water hazards and bunkers, slight elevation changes and a pretty texture used for the greens. But, before you start on this par 72, take a look behind as you stand on the tee box of the par-4 1st hole, so that you can see those magnificent colorful trees, before moving on to my favorite holes, the par-3 3rd, with a tee shot over a small elongated lake, and a green, halfway surrounded by water behind, the right dogleg par-5 5th, uphill with houses on a hilltop (on the right) and wide bunkers in front of the green, and the beautiful par-3 6th, with a blind and uphill tee shot over plenty of flowers, bushes and trees. The other noteworthy hole is the par-5 8th, downward onto a wide fairway, with a delicate approach to reach the green, with a small elongated lake to the left flowing further to the right in front of the green. The back 9 has some pretty holes too, starting with the very scenic left dogleg par-4 10th, with a tee shot over two small elongated lakes, separated by small rocks, and a path crossing the fairway, midway, and the par-3 11th, with a tee shot over a small lake and a green, partially hidden by trees, with two nice roads behind. I also like the beautiful downhill par-3 14th hole, with another blind tee shot over bushes, flowers and trees and a small lake, and the left dogleg par-4 16th, downhill all the way, with a blind tee shot and a small elongated lake on the left, in front of the green. But my favorite hole is the gorgeous right dogleg par-4 18th, whose fairway is between a road (on the right) and the coast (on the left), with its spectacular downhill approach toward the green, over an elongated lake, two-thirds of the way (on the right), and beautiful trees and bushes all around. From the 1st tee to the 18th green, this Aviara course is simply superb, and with its hilly landscape, water hazards, and nice greens, you will definitely enjoy this real course, thanks to Micko’s talented design.

A huge fan of the course I still play the 07 TW stock course on 08, and this version in my humble opinion is right up there with that design, just a pleasure to play especially in tough conditions. Many thanks Mick for yet another top layout that will be played over and over by many for years to come.
