With small mountains as a backdrop, nice plantings along pretty serpentine paths, undulating fairways, well-placed (pot) bunkers and quite a few water hazards, this links course set in George (South Africa) will give you a good “run for your money”.
Not only is this par 73 quite challenging, it is also quite scenic as you will see, for example, on the long downhill par-3 2nd hole, with a great panoramic view of a few small lakes (on the right) and a green, surrounded by a few small pot bunkers.
Another picturesque hole is the straight par-5 5th, with its undulating fairway and a very delicate approach to the green, surrounded by a few lakes, filled with weeds, and a couple of wide bunkers.
Two other noteworthy holes are the pretty par-3 8th, slightly downhill to the green, with a small lake on the right, and the very long (more than 600 yards) left dogleg par-5 9th, with its undulating fairway, and a green quite risky to reach on your second shot, especially with a creek flowing across in front...
On the back 9, I like the nice par-3 11th hole, with its panoramic view as you reach the elevated green (surrounded by five small bunkers), and the par-4 12th, with a tough second shot toward the green, set next to a narrow elongated lake on the left.
But my favorite holes are the very scenic dogleg par-4 15th, with two big lakes next to each other hugging the fairway on the left, and its small green, surrounded halfway by water behind, and the picturesque par-3 17th, with a small creek, winding its way in front and past the small green on the left.
Overall, this Fancourt course, well-designed by the CGX team, is definitely worth keeping, no matter which version(s) you will end up playing...

As you can see there is a A and B version of this course, both versions are the same, only the flag position on the green is different.
Important note: a lot of CGX courses are only playable from the: PRO tees
The cgx designers created courses in high tempo, so they only made the pro tees playable.
So in TW08 you have to select the PRO tees.
