pretty sure EA covered that in the agreement that comes with the Course Architect and the Library Creator:
You may include materials created with the Tools & Materials on your personal noncommercial website for the noncommercial benefit of the fan community for EA’s products and provided that if you do so, you must also post the following notice on your site .... |

| Yes i reailize you could not sell the material , BUT, since the material is freely available to anyone who want to take the time to download it, what you are charging for is the labor of putting it in a hard copy format not the material itself. So you are selling the service not the material. |

Great Ideas.
The first one is already possible for TW 08 using Caddie. Under Options >> CourseDownloads.com >> Sync Libraries it will automatically sync the libraries on your system with our databases.
Thanks didnt know it was there. You guy were looking out for us on this one. |

sorry, not knocking your ideas, ideas always help
just don't see where the 'cashflow' comes from ?
a .20 dvd
1/2 hour to fill it with files ($10.00 ??)
$5-$10 for postage, shipping, handling
if there is any 'profit', then you ARE selling the free material and you move beyond the noncommercial aspect of the license
i appreciate the costs of running a site - $10 a year from everyone who downloads would more than cover it
but it's the internet and everything is free for far too many people
so you end up with sites like this and others who provide the services at mostly their own cost

| Hello Im new here and was disappointed to learn that the the weekly tournaments are for TW08 players only. Im currently using TW07. My suggestion is to open up tournaments for TW07 so that I can play as well. |

impossible without starting a new tour
only tw08 users can log into the 08 EA servers
only tw07 users can log into the 07 EA servers
etc (;tw06 servers are still active)
you cannot play across 2 different TW versions
tw08 can be found relatively cheaply (;$10) at amazon.com for instance
might be worth a look - moderately better version, and hundreds of great custom courses available (;362 as of today) |

A course design competition. Everyone has to use the same challenging (possibly very small) terrain made up by one of the admin. Course has to be submitted in a certain time scale, ie 1 month. Limit to libraries used? Everyone must use same libraries?

| This has been done in the past, but I believe there was a lot of controversy in the judging. I don't think it was on this website however. It's something for people other than myself to consider however. |
