Iam curious to know what CGX/PGAX courses are not available to download in coursedownloads.com.
I know that Coco Beach, Mines resort, Annandale 2012, Trump National Doral and Isleworth
are not available to download. I wonder what other CGX/PGAX courses are missing.
Does anyone know? |

It would be wonderful to recover some or all of those courses. Regarding the courses you indicate, I think "CGX Leopard Creek 2015" is available in the downloads section, although it appears as "GGX Leopard Creek 2015" with A / B versions. Maybe a typo when going up the course. |

When the 60+ CGX courses were released between July, 2021 and August, 2022, each course was reviewed to see if it had been released previously, either by The CGX Design Team or the lead designer under their name. Since there were so many, if the lead designer had released a version, the CGX version was not always added to Course Downloads. A few others may not have been released because I was missing some files.
I will go through my directory again and discuss it with Pat.
The GGX Leopard Creek 2015 course was incorrectly named within the compiled course file. Couldn''t be changed, to my knowledge.

Steve thanks for the reply, when you find some extra CGX courses i am always ready to release the courses.
And thanks Rubencubo, yes good catch, the course is released as GGX Leopard Creek 2015 ( A and B version ), i forgot about that.
The course installs as GGX Leopard Creek 2015, i think the CGX designers made a typo in course architect, thats why its listed under the G |

Thanks for the reply my curiocity has been satisfied.
So close to having all the PGAX/CGX courses available for download.
The one the hurts the most for me, is not having a CGX tournament course to represent Pennsylvania.
A big thanks to everyone who make the courses for the game.
Its still the best golf game in my opinion. |

I checked on my Excel file and found 170 CGX real courses (A & B included) and one fantasy one but, unfortunately, not one in Pennsylvania !
So, unless you really need to play a CGX course, you still can dry your tears (and satisfy your taste buds) by playing at the beautiful... Herschey Country Club West Private course (available on this site).
Other courses you can download and enjoy (to name a few) :
- Keystone Golf Club (in Gettysburg),
- gorgeous Lancaster Country Club
- Oakmont Country Club
- spectacular Quicksilver Golf Club (in McDonald) -
- the easy Latrobe Country Club
- Merion East 2012 (I prefer Hyno''''s 2007 version)
- Riverview CC (in Eaton)
Have fun !

Regarding the fields you point out, some versions of them are available for download, usually with great work on the part of the designers:
Coco Beach - Not available on CourseDownloads
Mines Resort - Available The Mines Resort Kuala Lumpur (J&M Design)
Annandale 2012 - Available a real version Annandale GC 2010 (BULLPUPP2). A fantasy version of the course is also available for download Annandale GC (Bruce R)
Trump National Doral - In addition to the stock version of this course, it is also available another version TPC Blue Monster at Doral 2013 (BULLPUPP2)
Isleworth - Available Isleworth Golf & CC (MSR Golf / Tee Off Golf)
CGX La Quinta CC 2015 - Available La Quinta CC 2012 (BULLPUPP2)
CGX PGA West Nicklaus Private 2015 - Available PGA West Nicklaus Private 2012 (BULLPUPP2)
CGX Merion Golf Club 2013 - Available Merion East 2012 (ron717). It is also available a TW 07 version of the course that works well in TW 08, Merion 2007 (Hyno Designs)
CGX Leopard Creek 2015 - Available the CGX version of the course: GGX Leopard Creek 2015 A (CGX Design Team) and GGX Leopard Creek 2015 B (CGX Design Team). It is also available another version of the course, Leopard Creek (Wizards)

CGX La Mandria Torini Golf - Available two CGX versions of the course: CGX Torino Golf 2014 Blue (CGX Design Team) and CGX Torino Golf 2014 Yellow (CGX Design Team). The course where the 2013 and 2014 European Tour`s Italian Open was played was a composite of these two courses. I don`t know if CGX La Mandria Torini Golf is the same version or it was the composite of the blue and yellow courses.

Hopefully now, mav01 will find his happiness, playing all those "non CGX courses" you listed, including... Aronimink Golf Club !

Well the good news is that I have found happiness, in playing the courses you mentioned.
I have also found plenty of other great courses to play.
There are plenty of courses from Illinois and South Carolina.
Are a lot of the course designers form Illinois and South Carolina.
Or do both these states have a lot of great golf courses? |

In Illinois and South Carolina, especially the Myrtle Beach area, there is a high concentration of golf courses. Courses in the Illinois area tend to be more classic, while in South Carolina, more modern and resort-type courses predominate.
I''ve been looking for other CGX Design Team courses and I found on Youtube a PGAX channel. Of all the courses listed, the only one that I think isn''t available on this website is Coco Beach, in Puerto Rico. It would be great if it could be added to the large collection of courses in CourseDownloads.

Hiker Bob made three versions of Pine Valley for TW06 and TW07. They are available in the downloads section. I've played the TW07 Pine Valley version on TW08 and it's an excellent version, just like the Sandsaver course. I haven't tried Willie's version. |
