Here is Marc Leishman on 18 at St. Andrews in his final round Tex Mod created outfit using his new 588 wedge over the valley of sin.

No I have not done any Nike work, only some of Rory''s clothing line. The clubs are really hard to do, the driver and 3 woods are not once you get the template kind of mastered. Have done the X-Hot, Rocketballz, SLDR, R9 and R15. Martin Kaymers (SLDR with Orange Shaft) and Bubba''s Ping Pink Shafted Driver.

Also using the 07 Engine, so the messes of different clubs are less than in 08. The putters are kind of limited in 07. Tried to create Mickelson''s Putter out of the Stock EA putters and it did not work. However in 08 they do have Mickleson Blade Odyssey putter it just not Black, you would need to re-texture that. As far as Phil goes did his full Barkley / KMPG, logo in a full White with Pine Strip Black pants and full Black outfit.

I may release my full texmod set along with the custom players, just need to master it, many times I did not replace the texture that shows up in the game to show you the clothing line. It is not like you can go and just start trying on clothes cause of the Texmod replacement (it gets all messed up), you need to exit out, change the player and go back to the player you were using to see what the clothing line looks like or even clubs for that matter. Granted I have custom coded many of the replacement textutre picture so I know what the hell I did, like Thomas Bjorn''s clothing line, just have pictures of him. I know what they are and what the look like but you do not. Even something like Graeme Mcdowell were I texmod his beard, if you go in and change him a bit that screws up the beard and facial features and that texture get deleted from the game. It is a bit complex for a general public release. Than many of the stock players I changed their clothing lines also. My advise would be to texmod the game how you see fit, once you get the hang of it, it can be kind of easy, you just need to understand it.

Again sometimes in the game under certain game settings the textures replace the skydome. These are the bugs; but you can get around it.

As far as doing it for 08, more than likely no, the custom players I would have do manually (even though I did a bunch 8 years ago) than write up scripts and replace all the texture again in 08, it is a lot of work.

thumstyx did a lot of work over at Madden 08 PC - Football Idiot

He did all these Nike uniforms. For example the Seattle Seahawks changed their uniforms, these are unique with no template. So the designer had to create a design based on the texture and custom create the effects. The Madden community is more active in updating textures and creating better graphics for the game.

I started building custom designed teams with custom uniforms for college football and other types of custom teams. Learned a lot cause you have to build the uniforms on a blank sketch board so to speak.

What they do over at football freaks is hard code some of these textures in to the game via the .dat files. You can download updated uniforms and never have to use tex mods.

Everything I've done is in texmods even creating Hockey teams as football teams, kind of cool.

Another trick was to get the actual color codes for college teams, this would be your R,B,G.

University of Nebraska would be

White
R: 255
G: 255
B: 255

Red
R: 174
G: 19
B: 42

When doing a normal game texture use .bmp files

Doing a transparent texture like a logo aka Titleist, PXG, Honma create as a .png file

I know this is an old post, but I''ll give it a shot.
I know I''m not doing the texture right in PhotoShop, I haven''t gotten rid of the background white square but it does go into the game. It looks like an image just over the the original instead of replacing it. Trying a simple hat texture with a logo on the front. If I click on it It doesn''t change on the player. Am I supposed to pick the hat texture on the player? Just thought of that. I''l fix my PS texture and give that a try.
This is too cool to give up on. Any advice appreciated.

I've been choosing the wrong texture.

On those if you use .png files it is easier to mask.

Lets say you take a .bmp file out of the game and than you want to mask it

You just change the coding in the script

0x36A199E3|C:\Users\Hyno V\Desktop\MaddenTexMods\MAINAPP.EXE_0x36A199E3.bmp

to

0x36A199E3|C:\Users\Hyno V\Desktop\MaddenTexMods\MAINAPP.EXE_0x36A199E3.png

On the texture just make everything you don''t want showing up invisible
