Yes I can play ONLINE when hooked to internet....the point of playing in LAN mode OFFLINE is that it gives you the 75% attributies that you play at, at the verious online golf sites Like the Golf-4Fun Tour...no do you understand why I would like to get this problem solved. |

LOL im very aware of how online play effects player attibutes etc
but if LAN online not connected to anyone or any service (;ie NOT online) - it does the same thing why all the fuss? set up a game in LAN, practice away
use it as a work around since your setup obviously has something preventing it from using the LAN offline mode |

I know this is a year old but I just ran into this and being an IT guy I couldn''''t rest until I fixed it. We''''ve played direct IP for the last 5 years or so and had never run into this before. I went so far as to restore a full system backup from a week ago, before the issue started, and that did not fix it. Talk about confused. Anyway, I rebooted the modem and router, etc. and still no luck. Then for some odd reason I decided to uninstall my network adapter, and after rebooting it worked. I did not choose to remove drivers when I uninstalled via Device Manager, just a basic uninstall and reboot. Hopefully this helps someone else down the road.
PS and Edit: After the above worked I rolled "up" to a full system backup from last night, had the same issue, and after reinstalling the network adapter it works. |

HI mdwood
So uninstall the network adapter via device manager...go into TW08, attempt to play in LAN mode offline(one hole should do it)if I do not get the "game in use message". Go back in device manager, reinstall network adapter. Then attempt to play TW08 in LAN mode offline...RIGHT???? |
