I am hoping to establish this as a one-stop shop for folks to express their requests for any mod related to TW08, but especially requests for custom courses. It is my hope that players and designers will meet at this topic.

Hi Greg

What a brilliant idea, I have no way of finding out who builds courses

I realy want someone to make my local course,Essendon in the UK for TW08.It has two courses. I walk through it every day as i live on the boundery of the second hole on the new course.

I would love to be able to play this in TW and i am sure many others would to.

The club started life as Hatfield London Golf Club back in the 1970s.In the eighties the new coure was built by the then new owners of the london country golf club a japanese consortium who sold it in December 2011 to the Griffin brothers, Kieran and Liam and it continues to thrive to this day.

The Old course was designed by Fred Hawtree from the famous Hawtree dynasty and was opened back in 1976.

The New course is unique and more than a little quirky, in that it has two greens on 16 of its holes.

Here is hoping someone will help.

Kind regards Tom

GREAT idea!!!

i tried some days ago to design and build an italian couse i played last summer (Riviera GC in San Giovanni in marignano) but it disappointed me, cause my paucity of abilities.
so welcome who wants to realize it! i'll give him all i have about the course, birdie book too ( if it is useful)
Come on!

My first request would be TPC Southwind as the 06 version won't work in 08.

Not to sound snarky, but when my budget dictates that I can, I will.

FWIW, here are the courses I would like to see made available...

Former PGA Tour event courses:

(1.) Kingsmill River Course in Williamsburg, VA which hosted the Michelob Championship.
(2.) TPC Piper Glen in Charlotte, NC which hosted the Home Depot Challenge.
(3.) PGA West Stadium Course in LaQuinta, CA which hosted the Skins Game.
(4.) TPC at The Woodlands in The Woodlands, TX which hosted the Shell Houston Open.

Current PGA Tour courses:

(1.) River Run Country Club in Charlotte, NC which hosts the Chiquita Classic.
(2.) Port Royal Golf Club in Southampton, Bermuda which hosts the PGA Grand Slam of Golf.
(3.) Oak Tree Golf Club in Edmond, OK which will host the US Senior Open.
(4.) TPC Snoqualmie Ridge in Snoqualmie, WA which hosts the Boeing Classic.
(5.) Kapolei Golf Club in Kapolei, HI which hosts the Pacific Links Hawaii Championship.
(6.) TPC Wakefield Plantation in Raleigh, NC which hosts the Rex Hospital Open.
(7.) Ko Olina Golf Club in Kapolei, HI which hosts the LPGA LOTTE Championship.
(8.) The Woodlands CC in The Woodlands, TX which hosts the Insperity Invitational.

I would be thrilled with any or all of these. Thanks.

We have several course designers that are doing the public courses in the U.S. What surprises me is that they have not done this course:

Tbe Bountiful Ridge course in Utah.

I have the Links2003 course file and the Links2003 program available for anyone that wants to see the layout of the course.

Bountiful Ridge was done for TW07, and is available on this site. It should work on tw08.

Tommy,

I am progressing with Essendon CC. It is a bit of a stinker as there are loads of water courses running through the golf course. With all of the elevation changes it is somewhat difficult to accommodate all of the water. Having said that, all of the water texures are done and now concentrating on each hole. Should have it done during September.

The way we are playing here you might want to throw the clubs in the lake. If you throw the clubs in the lake, you might miss the lake.

No course in the works: retired.

Very disappointed in this rendition of this course. Does not look at all like the real course. I deleted it from my courses I'm keeping on my computer.

I received this request today from one of our members: billum
I was wondering if you would do me a favor. Could you reach out to anyone who is still designing courses for TW08 and see if they would be willing to design a course on a particular plot of land? I can give them GPS coordinates if that would help. This could be a contest to see who comes up with the best design. The land is in Sirkirb his family and he would like to see what the talented designers here could do with it.

If anyone is interested, they can message either billum or Sirkirb and they can give them GPS coordinates.

If Billum is the district, I presume it is in Denmark.

I might be wrong, but i think it is a private plot of land, there is no golfcourse located.
I think it is located somewhere in USA.
