Using obj exporter from Blender3D. Will try some options that play with the UV Mapping.

If you are rather serious about doing structures for TW, I would maybe grab GMax(I think it is still free). You will find the most help in getting started. You are the first person I have heard of the uses something other than GMax or 3DS Max for doing objects for TW. I use 3DS myself, which is just the paid version with more functionality of GMax
