| Just got a Brand new Laptop for Fathers day with Windows 8, I installed TW08, Runs fantastic at max settings, Dld TW Caddie 08 64bit, figured it out, works fine on installs, get in game I select course, settings, click Tee off, loads about 1/4 to 1/3 and crashes, it tells me there is a Visual C++ runtime Error, Im updated everything, any Ideas |

On win8 you will have to run TWCaddie08 as administrator.
On desktop right click TWCaddie08 icon, choose properties...compatibility..and on bottom check box: run as administrator.
You can also try to run TWCaddie08 and/or TW08 in compatibilty mode: right click TWCaddie08 and/or TW08 icon on desktop...choose properties....Compatibility...Run compatibility troubleshooter.
You said in shoutbox the stock courses are working, but you are having problems with the custom courses.
Custom courses are using more resources of your system, compared with the stock courses.
Not sure, but since you are using a laptop with a graphics chipset, i have a feeling your graphics card is not powerfull enough, not sure though. |

| I thought about that, but I've got a couple of pretty hefty 3D games that run Great full blast. Just for fun I loaded up 06, installed Edgewood Tahoe 08 and required libs, and with the exception of the skydome it ran great. Go Figure. This one has me totally stumped. |
