How are you old buddy! Both games will be fully functional golf games. I refer to them as simulations because both of these projects will try to simulate or emulate if you will, the actual golf experience both in appearance of the terrain as well as the technical aspects such as swing, ball flight player appearance etc. Most golf games on the market are exactly that. They are games. An overall Arcade like appearance. This kind of look seems to be more appealing to the younger generation which of course the game developers key on since they are the ones that financially are the main supporters of the PC and Console software market. |

Here's what i'd like to know....I checked out Mike Jones website and it stated that in 2009 one of courses had 100,000+ dl's.....
Is the Links community really that much bigger than TW, then or now? Thats 4 times what ken hale's augusta got and 10 times more than homeboys best.
I was shocked by that figure. |

This is an example of a pattern most forums seem to display. I pulled this information off the Links Corner forum. There is a tremendous number of members listed as active. As you can see, the really faithful are very few in comparison to the entire membership. I dont know which 2009 Course of Mike Joness you are referring to, but I suspect it to be Augusta National. All I know is that if Mike lays claim to that many downloads for that particular course, you can take it to the Bank. |

In fact they might have been available at other Links sites which I am not aware of. All of them with the exception of one or two of his early designs were Pay To Play courses. In other words, for a modest price you are able to download them and outright own them. I own his whole collection and love everyone of them. |

well guys here,s an update from mike himself,we all love tw and links and have probably tried most other golf game,s thats been released, but this shows real sighns of combining the best bits off all them, and then some and brining all cybergolfers and course creators a truely breathtaking and real golf sim
Hi Jason I like that idea as well! This is why I posted the news about our game now because I know sim golfers everywhere have been aching to have their say on how their game should be. I also know that no matter what we do it won't be to everyone's taste but it won't be for lack of trying or listening!
As the game is designed to be constantly developed and updated it gives us a big opportunity to include many of the ideas posted. Will they all make it into earlier versions... no of course not, but only because we need to make sure the 'core' stuff is good to start with so we have a solid foundation on which to build.
We've launched our website at PerfectParallel.com and we'll be having regular news updates as well as dev blogs as we progress.
What we need more than anything from you guys at the moment is to help us promote and raise awareness of our game in other online golf communities such as World Golf Tour, Tiger Woods online etc to let those guys know that not only will they soon have an alternative, they'll have a say in how we build it!
here,s a link to there new website the vidio is truly lifelike and as mike says if we could pull the idea,s and thoughts of both comunities this may turn out to be the golf sim we all been looking for

Thanks for the post brandyyy. I could not agree more. I have known for quite awhile that the technology was out there to build an A-1 golf sim. The fact that Mike & Company is taking this project on, makes it even more special. This might finally bring the Links and TW communities together. There is an awful lot of designing talent on both sides. I for one will definitely support this venture. No more EA Sports to jack us around. Thanks again. |
