Have you tried hijackthis software. I am sure it cured a similar problem for me when I couldn't even get a Windows update. Read up about it on the Internet and see if it might cure your problem. You can get a free download and it might be worth a try before wiping your drive. |

| well i talked to AVG and they said it was a false positive ...what ever the hell that means and an update didnt detect the clicker so thats finished, but I wasnt able to install the online components . i think i read somewhere on this site about installing the online components separately anyone have the link ? |

| you can play at game ranger . i figured out what the problem was avg goofed up because the said clicker i had was actually nothing |
