Hi everyone,I have almost completed a Baltusrol/Medinah type layout but I have a problem. The shot path for hole 6 has somehow positioned itself at the extreme top left of the CA and I am unable to reposition it.When I play the course it freezes between hole 5&6. Does anybody have a solution to this problem or a reason as to why this occurs. It is not a misplaced flag,it happened earlier on hole 15 but the shot path was not as tight in the corner. Any help would be most appreciated as this course is about 98% ready for release apart from this problem. I post a couple of screenies of the the course Yonkers Country Club Peter C: |

A screen shot of what it looks like in the CA might be helpful to see but you could try going to the Hole Definition Tool and scrolling to the 6th hole with the problem and unchecking the shot path information and then doing them over again for that hole. The course is looking very nice. |

Hia, I have tried that ,although it appears to display the correct yardage for the hole and it seems impossible to remove that wayward shot point at the top left :C

hi.... When you left click the centre of the shot path dots, and you hit the Delete button on your keyboard they should go away. It is possibble you have to zoom out first before you can see the end of the shotpath in the corner. When you found the dot in the corner, left click centre of dot and hit: Delete |

if the delete doesn't work, try clicking on path, then dragging the bottom right arrow towards the upper left to shorten it then drag the whole thing towards bottom right until you can delete or otherwise modify it |

Hi,I managed to delete the shot path but when I try to replace it,it automatically goes straight to the top left corner where no matter how close or far out I zoom I cannot gain control of the that shot pt.Sorry for my stupidity :D but when you say path do you mean create cart path? |

"...but when you say path do you mean create cart path?" |
i was referring to shot path
why not leave it deleted then :) carry on, with hole, other holes, then save (;or save as different name), come back, try again
noticed you have Tournament Tees selected - those arent used in games, can probably uncheck those |

Very strange, I cant take a pic when its happening, but when you have the shot path tool open and on hole 6 and with all the shot points deleted for hole 6, there is what looks like a shot path point up in the very top left corner, way off the plot, but I cant delete it.. When you go to another hole it disappears... Im out of ideas.. |

Larry, can you move the point to the plot, if so move to plot and delete on the plot. you can try to uncheck all the tee boxes to see if this will restore the shot path also.

Do you have a "incremental save" at a point before this appeared? They are sometimes your only option in a mysterious case like this.

Have you rune "Repair Course" under "Tools"?
Other ideas, shots in the dark, save a new version before attempting:
1. Delete all shot paths and related points (out-of-bounds, pin locations, galleries) on all holes. The CA might have an error in the overall tracking of this portion of the game. Tray adding shot paths one hole at a time; save, and re-open to see if the error is still there.
2. Alter the plot size, smaller or larger. The fact that the errant point os always off the plot makes me think changing the plot might correct the error.
3. Use CLTool to strip the course (remove all objects and structures. I have seen CA do weird things, things seemingly unrealated to objects, when it does not like a particular object os structure. |
