I've almost finished my latest course.
Set amongst the mighty rivers of British Columbia, home of the giant redwood, The larch, the fir, the mighty Scots pine. (sound familiar ?) I've included a picture to give you the flavour of the course.
Anyway I can't think of a name for this course.
Now is your chance to achieve immortality by thinking up a name for this course, and having your idea as part of a world famous Munroco designed course.
The winning entrant will also receive, absolutely free, reserved tee times for a year and a tree planted in their honour outside the soon to be built clubhouse.
Cheers
Neil |

No no no, sorry I shouldn't have added the question mark. That was my idea for a name. |

| But seriously Neil, throw a few more snaps up so we can get a better look at her. You wouldn't name a horse after only seeing 1 hoof, now would you. |

| Beautiful! I lived in BC for many years, and Im not sure there are any mighty redwoods left in that province, unfortunately. Maybe the name of the course should be Loggers Bane. :) |

| I like that one, heres a few more pics. The cut texture isn't the one I'll be using, this one is there so I can see what I'm doing on the CA more easily. |

Great idea my brother, and the course look great.......
1st thing that popped in my head just now when seeing these pictures was..... Whinding with a Y witch makes the name....
"Yding Pines"
Will think more about this after I get trying to do my TW tour marathon I'm trying to do today. Had some crazy stuff happen that has thrown a wrench in my tour schedule......

to Munroco: Looking forward to this one.Have lived and played in B.C. for 70 odd years but never saw a redwood north of Redding Cal. The snaps provided remind me of a course on the north side of the Fraser River named "Iron Mountain"...real course...but I think it failed due to maintenance costs etc. This course was truly target golf with some fairways over 40 degree grade...hitting uphill. Truly no place for the faint of heart. Most of the mountain streams up here have boulders and gravel visible with less defined borders for their banks(Ihaven't the foggiest about course design so I hope you don't take this the wrong way) Tnx to you and all fellow designers for extending my golf career. |

Fab-looking course, and the texture colors are truly superb. I'm a fan of the name 'Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim,' so how about:
