World Golf Challenge 2011 has been updated.

The new "Bobble" feature has been tweaked to handle inclines more realistically.

Jim Dickson's stunning "Burrangarra" course has also been updated after Community user feedback.

You can get the Portal here.....

...through which you can download the Demo and/or the game and even buy the game should you wish.
The Demo is quite old now and doesn't feature all the upgrades that the game has. I think they are going to redo the Demo in the future.

New update available: -

1] In Create Player you can now assign your preferred club for chipping (SW by default).

2] New Cart Path type in the editor for the drawing of fixed width paths and roads, with a central spline for easy adjustment.

Brian Zager has, with help from Chet, discovered a way to get the original TW arch files into the World Golf Designer, saving a lot of time for any user who wants to port their original course designs over to the game.

Joe Habiger has released a fantastic rendition of "The Wisley". A 27 hole layout.

Situated in a tranquil area of north - west Surrey, The Wisley is only a 30 minute drive from London's West End.

B.J. Weworski originally designed the front 9 and Joe Habiger designed the back 18 holes.

Joe Habiger has released Hazeltine National 2011

Updates to the course include changed trees, textures, new longer yardages according to Hazeltine's Website, new course overlay, improved greens, added and moved some bunkers to reflect longer yardages.

Official News Release:

The price of World Golf Challenge 2011 is now $20.

We are also very proud to present another fine creation by Jim Dickson. This fasntasy course is called 'Little Tree' and you can download it now from the courses tab.

There is also a small coding update to change the way the sky is handled to prevent an issue with some forthcoming courses that have dramatic elevation changes.

Brian Silvernail has come up with a new technique for adding mow patterns to textures utilizing shape overlays and transparent PNG files and has uploaded the files and tutorial.

Steve Danut has released a "real course", East Moreland Golf Course based in the region in and around Portland, Oregon which has some of the most incredible public courses per capita in the nation - in my opinion - lol. This is a course that I have played on occasion and it is not particularly difficult but it is fun. Heavily treed with some water on the back 9 bring the difficulty up just a notch or so.

World Golf Challenge 2011 has been updated.

22nd February. Try before you buy! You can download a demo of World Golf Challenge 2011 from the demos tab now.

23nd February. You can now make the golfer see-through by pressing the 'V' key. You can also re-assign this key via the "Controls" options. This will be especially useful if you are putting across a strong slope at such an angle that the hole is hidden by the golfer. (A nice little tweak for the game as suggested by Jeff Helton on the 17th February. Thanks to Dean and Rich for getting it in so quickly).

I downloaded the demo but it freezes my computer when I try to play it. I am using Windows XP and the other game demo from the site works fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Apart from the odd official course there will be few, if any, updates for a while as Rich has started the herculean task of coding the next game in the series. This will be ground up all new graphics engine based around Win 7 and DX11 a new 64bit Course Designer. It is expected to take about a year to write and Rich will be incorporating as many Community "wishlist" suggestions in to it as possible, time permitting.

I would expect little to no further info on this matter until the new game is ready!
