I'd love to see a relistic version Carnoustie. The ones I've seen so far, while maybe having all the correct elements, just don't look like Carnoustie. Saying that, I have no idea what information is available or even what is needed.
Cheers

Too bad Pinehurst doesn't have enough info out there...
How about Baltusrol? I already have the DEM if you'd like to do it. |

First of all..I want to say Thanks for all you do for this game! And I really don't think you will drift too far away from this community. Its in your blood to design Roger. My suggestion would be to do a Tour 18 type of course. Using holes from the many courses you have designed! And maybe..just maybe, give us your version of Amen Corner in the design! Bless you man.You are in the CourseDownloads "Hall of Fame"...PdLegend |

Would love to see "The Country Club - Ryder Cup 1999" edition. Growing up in the area and it's limited access always makes this course special. 3 US Opens, US Amatuer, Ryder Cup, and I think a few MGA events are just a small part of the course history. Unfortunately I don't know what, if any, information is out there. That's my plea from another Mass. golfer and thanks for all your past work. |

I lived just down the road from TCC for 3 years in Brookline Village ... love the Village Smokehouse! I looked at TCC a while ago and wasn't sure if there was enough quality info available on the course to give it a go. If someone has the Ryder Cup program that they can share, that might help.
I think I might be getting a bit tired of doing American courses, so I've been taking a look at some of the European tour courses for inspiration. I liked the Fontana Golf Club in Vienna, The London Golf Club and Valderrama. But still haven't decided yet.
And I still have to release Loch Lomond which is done except for the pano. |

I saw that you posted some pics to Loch Lomond on another site, it looks pretty good. I don't I have ever played that course for any golf sim. Looking forward to playing it. If you want to do a championship course that is overseas, could you do The Grove? It host a WGC Championship back in 2006 when Tiger won that tournament. People said that it is a very tough course to play.

I was wondering when we could expect Loch Lomond. I have a pano, PSD format, 12288X1024. I can send it to you if you like. Here's a small jpg version. |

Roger, I have the Ryder Cup program from 1999 when I attended. I can get it digitized and sent up. I also agree, starting to add some European championship/tour courses would be a great addition. We will be switching over to adding Euro PGA stops this fall as well. |

I would love to see more true links. I was lookin at this site the other day, and the photos of Carne made me think it would be nice to have. I don't know much about it.

I'm going to have to learn this TA & Google Earth, and give a real course a go soon............
I'm trying to make a fantasy & real course like at the same time so I please everyone(if that is possible) with my 1st course. Thinking up holes can be difficult at times, but I do enjoy the process when I think I hit the mark with a hole. Plus, I really need to go look at golf pictures sites so my knowledge of golf course making is better than it is now. While making my holes up with my first course I've sometimes hit a wall, and go back scraping the whole hole I did because I think it's not good enough. I'm worried the playability of the hole will make the golfers upset, especially with the greens. Since I'm not good with TW2008(par is good for me) I'm not sure how hard a course should play with these TW players shooting 50's & low 60's all the time. I'm trying to make it fair, but hard at the same time, and this isn't a easy task, I must say.
Thanks Squirrely

If I'm not mistaken PGAX design team just did a TW 2008 version of TPC Sawgrass 2009 a few weeks ago, and it blew any version of EA's stock Sawgrass away by many miles. I'm going to suggest this PGAX version, and I'd be very surprise if you weren't happy with while playing your round.
Have fun Squirrely :) |
