No, like I said, the picture does not show what it was before...everything was black...all grass and cart path. I have started the project from scratch and so far with my first hole finished, no problem...I am crossing my fingers...:)

"Hi,
again, thanks for taking the time to reply and help.
The CL tool does not seem to work with 06 libraries...i can cloak other libraries but not the TW06 ones.
As for specification, I do this on a portable IBM thinkpad, model R60, with ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 video card, Intel T2300 1.66 GHz CPU and with 1 GB of ram.

Daniel"

ok thanks
that might be the cause.
If it happens again, could I compress the course and one of you guys could try it on your system to see if you also would have the black textures ?

I would be willing to look at it if you need....

But have you tried turning down the 'in game graphics' to 'Best Performance'
Might not change anything, but if your processor is being maxed out, it might let it work a little better...

Idk.... just a thought... :)

Could you also post the .tca file? I am getting the same black textures, so it's not your system that's the problem. There's something going on in the CA that isn't right.

I just noticed you were running vista. Are you using vista to design on. If so do you have an XP machine to compile on. If you are compiling on vista, there are many issues with it. You will need to compile on XP

Sorry i did'nt see this post before.

I've had this problem before with textures rendering in multi color hues. I found it mainly occurs when you have not done enough work on the course, especially if you start with a very flat plot, but after adding some elevation work and trees the problem goes away and textures render properly.
