Can you do this? Take Tigers Swing and put it on Adam Scott.
My guess from what you wrote above, the stock players pictures are hard coded in to the game. If you could add to the file you are hex editing you could find the code for lets say for Justin Leonard 07, than add him to the game. I think you would have to code him up to make him work. It is just a theory. Maybe Justins code is already in 08, I have no idea.

I created a custom golfer and made it so he had Tiger's stance and swing. I also was messin' around to see if it was possible and made Vijay Singh have Tiger's stance and swing, so yea, I can do it.
I can put Justin Leonard '07 into the '08 game. I don't have '07 though, so I'd need his plr file and directory from '07. In '07, did tiger have different clothes ?? I'd put him into '08 too if he did. |

| The file attached to this message is Adam Scott with Tiger's stance and swing.. but since the names are hard coded into the game, the only way this works is if Adam Scott is named Tiger Woods. I don't know if there's a way around that. I've tried a few things already with no success - the game crashes. |

And why cant I talk about hex editing ? Im not trying to create cheats. Its corrective surgery - not unnecessary plastic surgery.
You were told you could talk about hex editing. And I'm equally confused as to what you're insinuating with the "create cheats" comment.

| its clear from reading this that it may be possible to use a hex to overide the 75% for online play,that could be a problem,it was for TW99. |

In online play, it doesn't matter if your attributes are over %75, everyone hits equally. |

Heres the deal, Ive know about editing the attributes so you cna hit 750 yard drives OFFLINE since TW2003 was still in beta. However if you go online and try to play with that player the ball your stats are set back to that of a player with 75.
Yess you can set your swing power over 100 and the ball will go ALOT farther OFFLINE. It will not change your online golers abilities. Ive hacked up the player files in everyway imaginable to find cheats players may be using on the tour. And no matter what I change the online play stays the same even though the offline play has been radically changed. |

Hah, 750 yard drives - wild.. Yea, my purpose wasn't even to cheat at all. I just wanted to put a red shirt on tiger and change his clubs and stuff. I know one thing 3 clicked online may use to cheat, but I won't mention it on here because then people could use it. It's something that slows down gameplay. Cheating in any sports game is lame though. What's the fun in that ? I aced hole 17 at Sawgrass on expert and it felt amazing, but if I was cheating, it wouldn't feel like anything. |
