it tells Me that the course compiles correctly and is playable in the game the software was designed for
which would focus me on known issues between 06 compile/play and 08 compile in 06/play in 08 issues
Tree Lighting is one of them
jmeier offered to look at the tca in a different topic (1st one i think) might be an idea to send him PM, see if no load issue can be repeated |

youre right he did agree to look at it.. havent heard a thing from him lately so I dont know where he stands on that.. I havent clicked the tree lighting when I compile, so that isnt the issue there. I appreciate your help here bro. Just hope someone can tell me what it is I need to do with em.. I would really like to design courses for here.. think I can make some really enjoyable courses for all players.

| Send me the tcr I will see if I can play it, you can send me the tca as well. The previous one had two libraries used on it that were named the same. Without going through and removing all of that stuff I wasn't able to play it. It should be easy to find out. I can give you an answer in a few hours. |

It tells me you have deleted a structure library.
This is one reason why it is important to write down the libs you are using.
If you can remember which libs you were using, you can reinstall it and try that.
Not sure if cl tool can help you there. |

Whittle56, to get this course to run you need to these libraries into TW08, Beartooth Pass, Black Course Bethpage 2006, Fjordmid, Pgax2,Eagle Eye at Hawk Hollow, TPc at Sawgrass 07,Danut 08 or make new project in CLIool and remove the sticky libraries, and recompile in CA. your Tw08 lost these libraries, it happens sometimes with CLtool,

just for in the future, you can just copy and paste those GUID's under search in library section of this site and it will say what library it refers to. |

When i first compiled the course and then tried to load it the game crashed. I have all the libraries installed
The only thing i did was to remove all the 06 trees and plantings and replace with stock 08 trees from Sawgrass, the course now loads in game.

The libraries must be installed in the TW 2006 game for CA to compile the course. I would suggest you use 2008 libraries and not TPC Sawgrass 2007, as there is a Sawgrass 2008. Stay with one or two libraries to layout your course and to work on detail, you can change the textures to anything later. I would start with a larger plot also, use buffer shapes around your shapes during detail work. Learn and use the CLTool, you will find it useful most everyday. Get Smiling Goats Video Tutorials for Tiger Woods 2008, if you have not seen them. Homeboy, jimi, HikerBob and others have tutorials also. You just have to experiment and play around with CA to learn it and to produce a good course. It can be enjoyable and a good hobby once you learn the CA. Look forward to many good courses from you.

| The were buried structures in the terrain as well as buried plants. That is what was causing the crash. |

try uninstalling them, then reinstalling but generally yes - the caddie would show the installed libraries in the lower window click/highlight a library select properties it shows which courses use that library and also shows the file path (folder location) |
