Some of you have been getting errors that refrence stock libraries as being misnamed and may cause problems when using TW Caddie 08. Here is a fix. Download the file and double click on it. It will ask if you are sure you want to add the information. Select yes and your problem will be fixed. WARNING THIS WILL NOT WORK ON 64 bit systems. |

First you will have to install automatic installer: TWCaddie08
Go to link below to download and install TWCaddie08:
http://www.coursedownloads.com/twinstaller.asp
You will see on link above there is also link inside with help: View the user guide)
When you downloaded ....and installed TWCaddie08.... you will find icon/shortcut on your desktop.

I dwl file extract file they want to no where to extract, i used desk top double click dele file dwl augusta 2008v2,so what when i reinstall course augusta2008 still there, i am not getting rid of it by extracting it go back after deleting course reinstall n augusta2008 is still there i have win 7 32 bit i see nothing bout library-fix reg |

I had an XP blue screen back on 8.28, and had to re-install XP, the TW08 game and start rebuilding my customs. For a while the customs seemed ok, 'tho I didn't try/test every one. Now I'm getting library problems. Courses won't start and run. Here's the Caddie analysis:
Judd's Walls_n_Stuff: Missing or invalid file path.
Tee,s and Extras: Missing or invalid file path.
Jimbo's Tee Markers: Missing or invalid file path.
Yet the Caddie shows them as installed. So, I used the Caddie to uninstall them, downloaded the libraries again, and tried to install them with the Caddie. It reported they were already installed, etc etc. Endless loop.
So I just discovered this page with a possible Registry fix:

So I got the zip. But it says to back up the Registry before applying. Hmmm, but apparently my Registry may already be wrong about these TW libraries. I just backed it up anyway. I use Crap Cleaner occasionally on my Registry and usually back up the Reg before fixing. I do have a recent CC Reg backup from before the crash, from 8/9 - but I'm afraid to click it since it's before I reinstalled everything to different logical drive partitions etc.
So my question is, (YELL) SHOULD I APPLY THIS TW08_Libraryfix.reg ??? |

Hiya Tranz....
I don t think the registry fix will help you with this problem.
TWCaddie thinks the libraries are installed, because the registry entrees of the libraries are still in the registry.
So you will have to delete the registry entries of the libraries manually.

Note: When you removed the registry entrees,it should be possible to reinstall the libraries with TWCaddie. |
