Hi everyone... my name is Rick and I'm a golfaholic. ;-) I've owned TW07 for about eight months, but started playing on a daily basis after getting laid off in December. Having a resource like this site, and all the talented people who contribute to it, has made a great golf game a whole lot better. I'm glad I found out about it and thanks to all who make it possible.

Hi. My names Paul and I've played TW on and off for a few years, on PC and XBox.
I love all the courses available and am in awe of their quality, if only there was a way for the to be used within the Career option of TW08, unless there is a way.
Congrats to all Designers, Testers etc on their good work. |

Hello everyone......... :)
My real name is Mike, but Squirrely is my nickname, and just wanted to thank everyone for all the hard work they put into these courses & this web site. I just started playing TW about 3 months ago, and I'm just amazed with how great Tiger Woods 08 is. Used to play real golf, but since my wife got her nerve disorder, and lost her ability to walk. I haven't been able to get out to play any real golf for about 6 or 7 years now, and I'm very thankful for all the hard work everyone does to bring us these great works of art. These courses are done very well, and I've just touched the surface of them so far. Maybe one day I can learned how design courses like you gifted people do.........
Going to play on the Novice tour here once I get everything figured out, and can't wait. I'm very close to doing that, I hope. Finally got the TW online to come up in game, but now for some reason while online in game. My TW game it is saying my game code isn't good when it's making me register my TW game again. My Tiger Woods game shows resigered in my EA account on EA's web site, but it's not happening in game online. Guess I gotta get ahold of EA's support team, and see what is causing this. I'm not the best with computers, and this online gaming is new to me...
Thanks again for all the hard work everyone does for us........

Nice to meet you all. I used to play on the PGA99/2k games and hopefully will meet a few old friends here and make some new ones. I was always a clicker but I'm trying to swing these days, so to speak.

| Hi all, Shewter here from Arizona.Used to play pga championship golf 1999 and 2k(;anyone here remember those?)I beta tested tw03, and really didnt like were they where they were going with that.So I hadent played golf for a while.Went on vaca last yr. and my bud had tw07 for the playstation, and I thought wow this is pretty cool, so got back home and picked up a copy of tw 08.Anyways, Im back into online golfing lol. |

| Hi everyone, I am Mike from Oklahoma. You know, where the wind comes sweeping down the plain. I have been playing since TW06 which is on my Xbox. I have switched to the PC because the graphics are much better here. I really appreciate the efforts of the designers and the people that maintain this site. I can readily admit that my play is much better here than on a real course. I am a left hander, playing right handed.. Could never get the left hand swing to work for me. Strange, when swinging, if it takes two hands to play, I am right handed, but if it is only one (like tennis) then I swing lefty. Weird, but it works for me. Here I am enjoying another hobby of mine.... |

Hi all,
my name is Manfred and i'm new here in this great forum. For a feew weeks i've found my old passion to playing golf on the PC. About for 15 years ago, i played golf in the real life, but building a house, family and the job, gives me not enough time to play real golf and so i found Microsoft LINKS. MS give up the Links series and i lose my interesst for golf. :(
After many years i found MS FlightSimulator and it was a really interessting hobby, but it's also very time intense. For the Flightsimulator i designed many little add-ons with GMAX (MS published a very good SDK), but with the new FlightSimulator X and the common mood in the community (dispute, ..) i think, this is time for a time-out and so i found for a few weeks Tiger Woods 08 and i'm realy delighted from the graphik, the gameplay and so one. It looks fantastic. After many readings here in this forum, i find many infos for coursedesign and i learn that we can design courses with CA06 also for Tiger Woods08. I hope, i understand this correct. And so i purchase the TigerWoods 06 Version at Amazon.
I'm realy nosily, how to work CA06. So, that's a little info about me and sorry for my english. I'm from Austria near Vienna, so my english is not perfect and i think, i visit the the german forum. ;)

thanks for the links but i downloaded the tutorials last weekend. ;) I'm still waiting TW06, that i purchased last week at amazon. I think, i get it, this week. :)
One question to the forumowner. Is it usual to use the accout instead the real name in the signature? From many other forums, i am wont to use my real name, i think, it's a little more personal. In any case, it's not really important. ;)

Hello to all: I'm arjay (oldbuttgood).Played golf for over 50 years until smoking and COPD
caught up with me. Am fortunate to live in B.C. which is blessed with multitude of beautiful courses...also close to Washington State which is another golf paradise,especially Olympic Peninsula where I've played Port Ludlow,McCormack Woods and others.Happy to have downloaded Sahalee GC which brings back memories.

I have been playing since the 386 days, but never online, just by myself.
