Hi Everyone
I,m Dennis (GravediggerDM) from Germany. Play TW since 05, Started playing virtual golf with PGA Championship Golf 2001 and Links2003. On CDT tour i play advanced True Swing (V) because it boring to play always in the low 60's. I'm not as good as so many others here, but it's simply fun. Many thanks to the people who invest their work and time for the tour.

Hi everyone, I'm Pat Lynch living in Wellington, New Zealand. I'm married to Wendy and we have two teenagers. (one of each) I bought TW06 late in 2007 and have been playing online for about 3 months. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! TW08 arrived under the Christmas tree this year and it has taken me only 3 days to get online with it. I've registered for the tournaments and I am looking forward to the challenge of trying to climb the rankings. |

I'm Pat from the San Diego area and really enjoy the TW04 game. I'm looking to add more courses to get full enjoyment.
I'm looking for the procedure on what to do after I unzip all of the files. I'm following the instruction booklet that comes with the game. I select the files to install, click on the 'install' button and the items go into the 'LIbrary' column. I also get messages that files aren't there that are in the zip. How do I get those files installed?
I look forward to visiting here often. 'Thanks' for a great site!!

Howdy, New to the online golf thing. I have been playing 06 for a couple years now and decided it was time to upgrade. Just got TW 08 about 3 days ago and I love the newer graphics with 08. I havent found the "invisible" branches I used to hit all the time in 06 and can actually hit next to a tree now without it acting like the tree is where I am hitting. I was a little dissapointed however with the commentors using the same old lines they said in 06. I am tempted to make up my own mp3 sound bits and fire the commentators. Looking forward to starting the tour here. As a fan of online RPGs, I fugure I'll like the online golf as well. I will play my first round tonight after work or tomorrow when the weekend is a reality.

Hi, Im Gregory from Memphis, TN.
Ive been playing the TW series on PC for about a year now, starting with 06, then 07 and now 08. Love it. Cant believe theyre not putting out 09 on PC.
Anyway, I just discovered this site today and cant believe the wealth of riches. My question is this: Im not very computer savvy, and Im hoping that there is a step-by-step tutorial somewhere that will teach me to download and install these courses. Something hopefully very explanatory for a Luddite like myself.
Good to meet everyone!
Gregory

Hello, everyone. My name is Karl Baumgarten and Ive been playing Tiger Woods golf since the 1999 game came out. I also play the 2004 and 2006 games, but like the inaccuracy inherent in the 1999 game. Ive been designing courses for several years, all for the 1999 game, and recently started putting them on the site for others to enjoy(;hopefully). I designed a few new ones over this last Christmas break (;I work for a university), and enjoy building courses almost as much as I like playing them. Everyone is invited to try out my courses, and it would be nice to get more feedback from members on the courses they download and play, to let us designers know how were doing. Have fun and enjoy. |

Hi everyone, My names Trev, im from the uk and have only recently started playing tw08. In real life ive recently returned to golf after being an assistant pro aged 16 then realising I couldnt make the grade and giveing the game up for just over 20 years. These days as an older / fatter guy im enjoying the game much much more and found it pretty automatic to return to single figures handicap wise. As in the game tho i tend to be a risk taker and go for the long drive rather than course management frame of mind but you have to admit its more fun that way :)
Sure im gonna be on this site quite a bit so see you guys around.
Also forgot to say: if anyone fancies playing a round please contact me thru the private message option. |

Greetings and salutations! I am Jimmy Bryght and I have been playing PC golf for eleven years. I have played every brand of game and on every downloadable venue from Olympic Club in San Francisco to Doha in Qatar and Ive never, ever aced a hole before. Last night, in career mode, I aced the Par 3 14th on St. Andrews Old Course and won the European Shootout! It was my first professional win since 2001 when I won the Heineken Open on the European Tour (;using Jack Nicklaus game)! By the way, great Forum! |
