Hi all,
Im Stuart from Herts England. i'm 34 and play TW online but aint that good :)
I joined an Online-gaming forum which allows players to team up and play using "Ventrilo" which basically allows us to speak to each other whilst were playing IP/LAN..
We play a host of games most evenings so pop along and see :)
you can check it us out here

Were looking to create our own Courses and would like to thank everyone for this forum/site!

Greetings & Salutations!

I'm James from North Carolina. I just finished my fist tournament on the CDT Novice Tour (can't wait until Sunday when all the scores are in to find out how I did).

On here my handle is Purple Scorpion and on EASO it's DMJamesC0.

Played Links LS 98 for years. For $10 got TW 07 and 4 other EAS games. Spent the $10 mainly for TW 07, though. Playing from Waterloo, NY, which is right in between Rochester and Syracuse.

Played just once so far online. I enjoy offline TW 07 too much to be playing online. Can't play any golf so much anymore with two kids, but I get a few rounds in every so often.

Hello My name is Brian and Im from Washington State. Ive been playing TW07 since mid July and worked up from a nobody Hack with no skills to Pro level with a full compliment of skills and attributes. Im currently playing my first major event at the pro level. Was kinda excited about finding this website. Ive downloaded a few courses. I seen the weekly tour thing and signed up, but then discovered it wasnt for 07. so i guess I wont be playing the tourneys. My avatar is pretty close to what I really look like.

My personal rule for putting: If it looks straight, shoot it straight- 7 times out of 10, itll go in. However if there is any contour at all- screw it, itll be a 2 putt Par :D

I would recommend picking up the 08 version as you can find it for a fairly inexpensive price now.

Yeah I'm seriously looking at doing just that. Though I'm not looking forward to starting over though.

Your attributes are only taken into account when you are building an amateur player offline. If you play on the tour here in 08 you play your rounds with a pro player on EASO like everyone else where the attributes are locked at 75%. So it will not matter what attributes you have for your amateur player.

Hi everyone,

I'm a 44 year old unemployed but busy guy from north Arkansas. Been playing the TW 2004 demo for a few years, and a few weeks ago I got TW 08 for my birthday. I just love it when you get money and can gift yourself.

Been hacking around in novice mode so far, trying to tweak graphics settings to make my old crashy computer behave. Been downloading courses like mad, and you guys have some sweet ones. To all the designers here, just keep doing what you do.

My friend and I have a bit of experience with 3D design, but I wouldn't consider us a course design team just yet. Possibly we might try one in the future.

That's just about it. I'm here, and I'm loving the site. Gotta go now and play some golf.

Bukk.

Hey everyone:
My name is Mark and I live in Great Falls, Montana. I played Links2003 and was an avid member of PGA Championship Golf 2000 for the last 8 years. I designed courses there for the last 4 years now. I still have some on file and have found out that I can install them in this architect as well. Though the plantings have to be redone, it reinvigorates my interest in designing again. I am about to start a new career in truck driving, my wife is an RN here in Great Falls. I look forward to bouncing ideas off people when I can use some assistance. Thank you all for the help givin so far and this seems like a great group to be involved with. I too wasnt impressed for a long time with TW until being talked into trying it from a bunch of friends who have also moved over here from PGA. I look forward to meeting some of you in games and also connecting in the forum.

Whiffle

My name is Wayne Manko, I'm 30 years old and am in the US Air Force currently deployed in Iraq. I found out about coursedownloads from a buddy and have been gathering up all the great courses available since I got here. Just wanted to say how much I enjoy being able to play(even if it is cyber golf)the classic courses and a lot of the fantasy courses, it really makes my off time more enjoyable. Keep the great work up, and thanks again.

Welcome everyone. Nice to know the men and women over in Iraq are able to enjoy the site and give them some fun. At times you wonder why you would run a site this large and then you read posts like the last one....really motivates me to keep making it better.
