Hi Everyone, Im Brian.
Ive been playing TW since the days of 2001. Right now I have Tiger Woods 05 for my Power Book, and I love it. I also have 08 or my PS3. I work at a local country club as an Outside Service attendant. This truly is a great place for courses, I love it to death. |

Hey all, I am Jay_wil been a member for a while, just not posting much. I have played TW99, 02, 06 & 08. I like 08 best so far mainly for the graphics I think. I live in Central California and enjoy getting out to the course as much as I can. |

Hello all. Im Matt, 36 and from Liverpool, UK. I started playing TW08 about 3 months ago after about a 5 year break from golf games. Before TW I was playing Links2003.
This is a great site. Im loving the community spirit as well as all the goodies of course. Long may it continue. The work you guys put in is very much appreciated.
If anyone out there fancies an ADV 3-click game at any time feel free to PM me either on here or in the game (username = The Mutt). You have to meet the following requirements though:
1. Dont be too good or too bad. I dont want to be shown up for the useless golfer that I am nor do I want to wait 3 weeks while you go scuba diving for your ball on every hole.
2. You must chat during the game. GS, XS, GL and HF just dont do it for me.
3. If you get too far ahead take pity on those less fortunate than yourselves (me).
I would rate TW08 about 8/10 but when you get an affable opponent who doesnt take the GAME too seriously that judgement goes up to 10/10 for me.

Hello community,
my name is Daniel but Im using Badener as my gamename. Born 1964 in Germany, active real golfer myself, actual Handicap 9,7. That means far off the results I achieve in the game... -)) Im married and I have 2 lovely children who suffer from Dad being always away on the golf-course. On the other hand I need this to relax and to stay motivated for the job. Im having my own little company. Main purpose: istributing goods via Internet and HomeOrderTelevision. Ive set up a nice network which assists me in getting the right products through the right channels to the right people. So in case some here wants to start distributing goods in Germany through these channels, just contact me. I might be able to give sóme advice.#
Best regards to all of you.
Badener/Danny |

Hi Peeps ,my name is Les from Bonnie Scotland nr Aberdeen & not far from where The Greatest Golf Course in The World will be built soon if Mr Donald Trump gets his approval this month. Imagine what it would do to the economy here, new jobs, new businesses ,it MUST go ahead ,all for the trivial thing of having an area for wildlife habitat & unspoilt scenery. There are plenty other areas up the coast where the birds etc can go ! Anyway thats my opinion, i used to be an 11 handicapper at the age of 22 ,but i fell in love with football but am now retired at the ripe old age of 47 & back playing golf again & just trying to sort out my new handicap (my clubs-lol) Will keep u posted as to how i`m doing Bye 4 now. Hi All,
My name is George, and I live in sunny Sarasota, Florida, with my wife and two grown daughters.
I used to be a reporter for the Charlotte Sun, where I am a Pulitzer Finalist for my photography coverage as part of our staff coverage of Hurricane Charley. Ive spent more than 20 years as a photographer, covering spot news and sports, including the PGA, SPGA, and LPGA.
Since my back went out on me May of last year, I have been unable to work and play golf. Ten years ago I was in a 4-car accident (rear-ended) by someone on a cellphone doing 55 mph). My back was fused L4-S1. This was in 1999.
This March, I had two other major back surgeries, including fusing L3 to L4-S1, and that was followed by two deadly sepsis infections.
I used to play in the Golf Channel Amateur Tour, and back when it was the American Amateur Golf Tour. Now, the only golf I can play is Tiger Woods.
I like to create and play in tournaments, and while I am recovering from my surgeries, will design some courses.
I am just learning this game, and I think I am finally getting the hang of how it is played.
But no matter what I shoot, I play to have fun. Im just as happy at the bottom of the leaderboard as I am at the top. I am just grateful there is an opportunity for me to be part of a tour, which I miss dearly.
George. |

Hello thought Id jump in too, altho Ive been a lurker since 06 (didnt have 06 or 07 games so as time went by I didnt have much to say! lol).
Ive been playing sim golfs since Leaderboard.
The game that really hooked me was, of course, Links (and to a lesser extent the Jack Nicklaus series). One year I actually went out and upgraded a nearly new 286 PC just so I could play Links386!
Did some designing in the JNSE and GBC days but nothing worthy to upload, which is why I am truly amazed at the wonderful work community designers do as I know it is hard (and hopefully fun) work indeed.
Thought Id never give up Links, but TW08 has done the trick, as it has with my family/friends circle who I play against on occasion.
I appreciate cyber golf more and more as I am physically unable to continue playing in real life, but I still follow the game on TV and so on. This active site certainly keeps the fun factor in cyber golf regardless of the game or series.
Some day Ill get the nerve to try TW online ... arthritic hands sure do result in some strange shot results, regardless of the shot method used haha. Well, I guess *someone* would have to come in last! :-)
Cheers All, Scott |

Rob H from western Massachusetts, 62 years old, playing computer golf on and off for around 15 years. I learned 3-click way back when and though Id like to trueswing Ive never taken the time to learn it. My few feeble attempts convinced me Id need a hands-on tutor. I only know 3 other TW players, all 3-clickers. I started on Links, I think on Amiga, maybe Macintosh, played a few years, then dropped out. After I went to PC in 2004 I re-started on TW and eventually onto EASO where I got really addicted. I almost always play Novice online, though, as my old reflexes dont keep up with faster clicks.
Being a fantasy thing anyway, my TW avatar is me THIRTY-YEARS-AGO, 160 lbs lighter and with a lot more hair, LOL.
This site is great, I really appreciate all the great designers and the great Caddy program!
p.s. On EASO Im Tranz Membrified |

Hello from Philadelphia,
Im John K. and I love this site. Youve taken a great game and made it better with all the wonderful courses youve created. Im a Mac user and currently behind the curve with TW05, but may upgrade to 08 soon.
Ive been playing computer golf since the early 90s. Ive never played a round of real golf in my life, but played miniature golf many times. The highlight of my career was winning a free game at The South Seas Miniature Golf Course in Philadelphia. I got an ace on the 18th by nailing the spinning beach-ball on the seals nose. :)
Thanks for the great additions to my game. |

Hi. I'm Rich Newton and live outside Atlanta GA in the US. Avid golfer before some health problems so I get my golf in on the computer. Played Links for years (sorry if that's a dirtu word here) and just got TW based on my son-in-law's recommendations. In short, I am hooked. Love the system of working your way up. A bit boring playing the same courses again, but I see there are lots of those to download and install as well. It seems to be a little bit tricky sometimes, but I'll figure it out. Thanks for making yourselves available for help/questions etc. I appreciate that. Perhaps once I'm more familiar with the basics I'll see some of you on line or in a league somewhere. Hope so. Hit em straight and long! |

I started playing cybergolf with the old Links 386 game. I thought TW back in 99 was too cartoonish, scoffed at every version until TW04. Been hooked ever since. Rather active at the Clambakers site since joining with TW04.
Have lived in Swaziland, South Africa and Japan over the years, but happily settled in the Washington DC area since 2005. Play golf IRL since the early 80's. Had an ace in 88, a single digit handicap in 01-02, now a very comfortable bogey golfer. The game is much more fun when you are not stressing over your score. |
