TALKING ABOUT A tutorial you wrote 4 years ago coming back to bite ya in the arse.....
The preparing your course for the internet is making my life fun right now....I told everyoento compress it into a tcx file, I forgot to tell everyone dont include your splash screen and course text in the zip file if you put it in with your tcx file. |

Yes you will be able to install TW07 courses, only thing is it will be hard to tell the difference from other courses since TW08 uses Logos to tell you the course name. Im hoping ot have it done this week or early next week. |

Just an update....
I am about to send the first beta version of the program out. Up to this point the program has been in a alpha build and so far so good some small problems but I think I have those fixed. Shouldnt be much longer and everyone can get thier hands on it. |

Thankx TBM for a no frills, straight to the point utility. I know the amount of effort that goes into development of an app. Was on a R&D team for a CAD prog. many years ago.
Have just finished packing and uploading a new course using TWCaddie08. |

| Well for one, it is the only officially released course installer for TW08, unlike the other versions that were hacked versions. Those versions served their purposes in allowing us to play customs in 08, but in my opinion this program should be the one people use. from my testing of the program, it is just as simple to use as the others. |

Thanks for the compliments Im glad everyone likes it so far.
I did not create the program in the hopes of being better then other utilities that do the same thing. I created it because there was no installer for Tiger Woods 08 and no candidates for Tiger Woods 09 (if we have the option). I also looked at why Jorgen created Clsetup what was available did not do everything he wanted it to. I read post after post of how do I install courses, and how do I add a logo, they took two different programs, both of which were unautorized versions. I also have the added luxury which Jorgen did not have, CourseDownloads.com Database. The amount of data we have available for applications is almost endless and I had to stop myself just so I could get the program released. The MyLibrary Sync was a last minute descion as you can ask the testers they didnt even know it was going to be in there, that feature didnt even make it into the User Guide.
I will tell you now there will more then likley be a V2 of the program. So if theres something you want added let me know. |

The program does everything the Clsetup and Course Utilities does plus some. No I will write a patch for the current program. I would appreciate it if you uninstalled both of the other programs as they are unauthorized versions. Yes it does install courses and is needed to use the autoinstall version of myzip. If theres a way to install courses for TW09 I plan on releasing an 09 version. |

| Ok, good deal. I know that some users swear by the CU, but I think that this tool is the BEST thing that has come out in awhile. Finally, NO more confusion on the How tos anymore. Very plain and simple, makes at least ONE thing in life a little easier. |
