I just got a look of your Scottsdale Structures they are amazing!!! What you guys did on the 16th hole is one of the best tournament looks ever made for a video game. Is their any way for me to give some input and help create a generic lib for these types of structures. I would love for people to have them. With FDR on the banner of the TV tower the only one course can use it is that one. Maybe do Golf Channel, CBS, ESPN, NBC, ABC whatever. As seen in this picture I took your camera dude and raise them up to fit in to the TV towers, any possible way of building them in to the tower. What I am thinking here is do nice size lib with all these structures. I have a million ideas. I just have no idea about g-max, you are the man on that. Trust me on this, we put this thing together correct, everyone is going to have this amazing set of PGA tour structures. It will also be a lot easier than doing tournament structures for each of these new PGA tour courses that keep coming out.

thanks for the compliments hyno. thats a lot of requests, lol. the cameraman wasnt done by me, btw. it was provided by mcbruce. i cannot combine it with other structures because gmax doesnt allow importing one file into another. so positioning relative to tv tower is up to the designer. as far as a generic library for tournament structures is concerned, Im sure one will be available soon. It would be one without advertyizing logos and such though, because these are too specific for each venue and event imo. |

Im working on better skins for the cameraman but have no issues uploading the 3dds file here. The PGAX designs are done with the PGAX pros in mind 1st obviously ... its a tour and our thinking was if some of the other tours decided to use them then the structures would probably be suitable. The one thing about the cyber golf community is there is a lot of variety and in my opinion the designs just keep getting better. I think we probably will be pretty course specific for our tour, next door, trying to keep libs to stock and perhaps one or two structure lib for that design but Im sure a common structure lib would be real handy to alot of people.
if the images shows below it is the skins used for the cameraman ..youd still need to make some white and colored small images to be used on the camera itself

Those pics look real nice, Jimi. I like that rock texture that you have and the earthy-looking rough/dirt textures. I noticed that you swapped out the rock texture that you had around the tee areas and I think the first cut you have around the tees looks much better now. My one cosmetic suggestion would be on the cartpaths ... those look like the default 6 foot wide cartpaths. I think they look better at 8 feet or so ... minor quibble though from looking at the pics. |

Homeboy, the rock texture around the tees was mainly for design purposes this time. Makes them easier to find while designing, lol. Thanks for the compliments. The rock texture is actually 5 different, blending textures. |
