This particular structure is very similar to a building across the street from where my mom grew up. Its a place where the village women used to go to wash their clothes. |

"I seriously doubt a guy that names his course after a goldfish it going to be offended by my use of the word strange..
Jimis structures are amazingly well done, just not all always my cup of tea..
But as I said that one screen shot is picture perfect, Jimi. Look forward to seeing the rest of the layout." |
My Bad,...maybe it was just the attidude and the way the word was used...
Peace. |

Jimi, I LOVE your course. It shows imagination and a great distraction from the usual putt and go courses!! Bravo and make more. |

Jimi, if you ever want to make an old woman very happy, please use your talents to design a course full of birds, squirrels, rabbits, etc., with all the lovely sounds of rushing water and bird calls.
Half of the enjoyment I get from your course is the lovely surroundings. And I find your structures delightful.
Not to neglect the fact that I play a MEAN game !!! lol and thanks. |

Ill try and add some wildlife and sounds to my next course. To tell the truth Im a bit aprrehensive about it. My courses tend to be at max points, objects and structures wise. Im afraid if I add anything more therell be noticeable lag during play. But thanks for the compliments. All I try to do is make my courses like a place I would want to walk around in myself. Its nice to know that I might meet somebody there, lol. |

Jimi, in reguards to your last post. I have always found it strange that I have never had a hint of any kind of lag playing your courses, but at the same time there are some courses that have very few stuctures or objects on them that I do get some noticable lag on, not bad but it is there. I dont get why this is. |

I just figured if danawyz wants squirrels and stuff she can try copying a CLS file from one of the stock courses to the appropriate custom course folder. Im not sure if that will work, but I somehow think it should. As for the lag: I do notice more lag on the TW08 game in general, especially when using a custom player. If my courses lag less than others, Im happy with that, but I have no idea why. |

Hi Jimi..... To fix the lag problem with custom player:
On desktop you will see folder: My documents........ inside look for: Tiger woods PGA tour 2008....and inside go to folder: Career. Inside Career go to folder: Players.......and inside look for your playersname folder. Now you will see folder: Confidence.....and inside you will find files: Hole Type.tcn......and.....Shot type.tcn
Now right click both files ( hole.tcn +Shot type.tcn) and delete both files. When you did this: restart TW08 game and play 1 hole on any course and close TW08 game. Go back to same confidence folder and you will see both files are regenerated: but now they are very small size ( 85kb or something like that) Now right click both files ( Type.tcn......and.....Shot type.tcn) and choose : Properties....and check box: READ ONLY. Do this for both files. |

Gunpower. What I was talking about was low frame rates and I assume Jimi was also. There are a couple of the new 08 courses that have noticable low frame rates of about half that of the other 08 courses have. Both of them dont seem to have any objects or structures on them that would cause this. Could it be custom textures or such?
Custom courses that is. |
