Due to unfortunate circumstances we have been informed that Jorgen has lost the source code to the CLsetup program and has no plans of creating a new one for the Tiger Woods 2008. If anyone knows how to install courses without CLsetup please post in this forum to assis all TW2k8 users with installing courses. We are VERY aware there is a modified version of CLsetup for TW2008 but will not be posting it on this site without the permission of its orginal creator. Links to other sites that may be helpful are very much appreciated. Please do not attach anything in this forum as you may be banned from the site and it will just be deleted.

I cant get this program to work.
The reason being is that in the drop down menu in the installer there is no choice for a .tcr file which is what the extension is on the course files. The libraries installed fine but I cant get the course itself installed because of this issue. |

you may be making harder on yourself than necessary
assuming the modified installer still has a help file - its covered there
clsetup recognizes zip and tcx files
leave the files zipped, it should work
-from Help file
If the selected archive is a MyZip archive, the contained ZIP files will be extracted and installed one by one.
CLSetup will now unpack the ZIP or TCX file. In case the ZIP file contains a TCX file or a self-extracting .EXE file, the included file will unpack at the same time. After that, CLSetup searches through the supplied files and tries to determine what actions should be taken.
If CLSetup finds a TCR file, the package is assumed to be a course.
If a TCL file is found, the package is assumed to be a library.
If multiple TCL files are found, the package is assumed to be a multi-library package.
If neither a TCR nor a TCL file is found, CLSetup will abort the current installation. |

another option is to install courses with automatic installer: CLsetup.

Hello There downloaded the program everything seemed to work fine and the was put into my file. But when I went to play the course The prgram aske for me to put the disc in The disc was already in and wouldnt open the course it said it couldnt the course and to put the disc in. Any help would be helpull. Thank you. Hawkeye.
PS and again this is a great site ashame this installer doesnt seem to work for me for some reason maybe because I have Vista dont really know. |

Sounds like you need administrative rights, (logging in as the administrator) before you can launch the installer (log in with the main profile)
Also, when you installed the game you should have selected FULL INSTALL (which installs all the courses to your hard drive). |
