I believe you first save, then delete the golf ball that the new one will replace. I.E.1123 dds

Ronaldo DO NOT delete orignal ball, put it in a folder named back up balls.re name the orig ball (ex: 1123.ddsorig). now you can copy the new 1123.dds into the golf ball folder. Remember DO NOT delete. Here are the instructions I got from TWC.

Doesnt matter if you delete in 06.. the game always refreshes if it doesnt see a ball there..
