Moved from Course Manager forum to The Course Source forum |
|
Well, I took the plunge today and downloaded the 2006 Course Architect. Having been inspired by so many courses here, I thought id have a go.....
Flippineck, its not easy at all!!!! How do you guys do it??
Well, Ive laid out my eighteen, Ive mapped out two large forest areas, and created two large lakes. I even started putting a few slopes in here and there...
What I really wanted to do was to put in a nice river running between the two lakes. This river was to cross about four holes as well as crossing through one of my forest areas.
I say Id like to, but I cant find the way to do it!! The CA gives me a message saying in effect that Im crossing too many boundaries (or somethng like that...) Can anyone kick me either where it hurts or preferably in the right direction as to what to do next regarding my river?!!
I notice that there is no 2006 manual in the EA SPorts download section in TW2006. I presume the 2005 manual is much the same??
Im not looking to create any pre-existing course - just my first course to say Ive actually done one that looks reasonable. Its made me appreciate the work that everyone else here does, thats for sure! |

Ive just downloaded the tutorials and watched the first one. Although the first one covered much of what I already knew, Im sure the rest will go a long way to helping me get more out of this quicker!
Many thanks for posting the link - much appreciated. |

Youre welcome m8,
Another tip for thinning out your trees is to hold control and double click on a tree / structure to select all trees / objects of that kind.........:)

Note, you cannot place a tee postion on anything other then a tee texture and you cant place a pin on anything but a green texture. |
