Hi All......Figured since I frequent this site practically every day, Id put my 2 cents worth in this thread. The name is Eric and Im from Iowa. I 1st started playing TW back in 99 under the name ECAtiger. Had a blast using the ladder system. Next for me came 2k1 .Played it feverishly, met alot of good people as well as good players. Started making courses under different name, player name was AirWarrior. Throughout the years I played alot although 2k4 and 2k5 was a dry spell for me. Got the itch for designing and playing again in 2k6. So here I am again enjoying this game for what its worth, got a much better PC, and loving again what Ive loved from days gone past. Life is pretty darn good. Peace all.
And just a minor note lol, just got married last year. First time in 44 years. The wifey happens to think that peanut is a good pet name for me lol. So hence my name. This is a great site, nice job! |

Gday All,
Sir Smithy here living in the Great Southern Land
Loving the game so much may have to play for real one day!
Havent played a round for a few years.
I have a question~ I need to restart my career or start a new one
can I do it using the same player I created with same stats etc
or do I have to start again with a new player?
Reason is I am on an average score of 86.6 and need to get 82 or better, but have run out of time
and the game wont let me proceed
(insert background laughing here!!)
any help would be great

Restarting your career:
Look underneath My Documents in the game you are playing (Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06, 07 or 08). There is a folder called Career with a sub-folder called GCFS. In there you will find a file called PGA.gcf. This is the PGA tour set from the beginning. Copy this file, then navigate beneath the Players folder to find your created player. There should be a gcfs folder underneath your player. Paste the file on top of the current file, and your PGA tournament stats will all be gone, and youll be starting the tour from the beginning. This will also work with the other tour files that are there. |

Just joined last week. Ive already downloaded a few courses for TW2007. Just a word of thanks to the course makers out there, awsome job on the courses!! And thanks for sharing them!! Havent got TW2008 yet, but I may because all the club web sites are only playing that one. Cant find one with 2007 tournaments.

I live in MANCHESTER UK and have been playing Tiger Woods since 03,i have played many other games but never found any i like more than this one,also i must thank all the members and staff on TWC and this site for all the gr8 help given to us all.

| Hi !! I am brand new to this site and am just muttling my way around the site . I am very interested in finding out how to download and install add on courses for Tiger Woods 06 ,07 , and 08 . will gladly donate if I can successfully download and unzip files to proper folders in all the games , any advice would be greatly appreciated , I did send a message to BGWATT and he suggested the forum and tutorials sections , it talks about CL setup utility , how do I get that ? bemmons / new member on Jan 26, Thanx !! |
