The small tutorial, link i added a bit higher says:
1. Now dubble click the CEditor-Helper08.exe. ( after you run it as administrator )
you go in the folder files, and you click on another exe file, that is not the correct one.
the CEditor-Helper08.exe is the file outside the folder files.
Just follow the steps in the small tutorial, link i added a bit higher. |

You click on buttons not described in the Tutorial.
Not sure why it is not working for you, but when you just do the steps described in the small tutorial then it should work.
You click on all sorts of buttons, maybe that messed it up ?

I dont get it... It worked fine before now it wont..
Just installed windows AGAIN
Still wont work.. Acts like it will BUT it wont wright pgaedit
I checked properties and permission to make sure it has full control it dose
special permissions is blank
I have win 10 |

Maybe it has to find a PGAUser.gcf file in the game first.
Try to put the PGAUser.gcf from rubencubo in TW08 game, and look if you can start the Career editor then.

I have had PGAedit in
C:\Users\Leozplace\Documents\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Career\Players\Curt
should it see that or where would I put it so the will see it
Im thinking the app is suppose to see any PGAedit in the players folder

The Carreer editor will read the PGAUser.gcf file in this location:
Documents\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Career\GCFS
So you have to paste the PGAUser.gcf from Rubencubo in the gcfs folder ( see path above )
After that try to open the calendar with the career editor.
This how it works:
-----------------
When you create a new pro player then TW08 game will detect the PGAUser.gcf file that is inside the GCFS folder, and you will will be asked if you want to use that calendar.
When you say yes then TW08 game will automatic paste that PGAUser.gcf calender in your players folder.

A few possible solutions:
a. I think the ''PGAEdit.gcf'' and ''PGAUser.gcf'' files must be in the folder ''C:\Users\Leozplace\Documents\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Career\GCFS'', not in a player''s folder.
b. On the other hand, the ''CEditor-Helper08'' manual says: ''2. Press F1 on your keyboard to copy the career editor files into your game folder. (you only need to do this once !!!!) (you will be asked: copy files to game folder?...say: yes)''. From then on, when you run the program, you have to start the program in the game''s installation directory. Something like ''C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Sports\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08''. In that directory should be the file ''''CEditor-Helper08.exe''''. |
