Hello, in PGA Tour you will only see the scorecard / leaderboard of your opponents, you won t see them play, you will only see your own shots.

Very weird, i only know how to remove the cpu opponent when you play a Custom game.
Go to Game modes....custom game...and click next
And at the right side you will see your player, when you see also other players, then click on the player picture and choose: remove player.
But that is when you play a custom game, very weird you also see cpu opponents playing on the PGA Tour.
Is it maybe a setting in the career editor ? not sure though.

I deleted my profiles, had 2 and started new and cpu player still there no option to get rid of them...
only other thing is to reinstall after a system cleaning

I did see it in custom game.. nice to know I can pass and play

You said it yourself. You''re playing as a hack. That means you''re not on the PGA Tour yet. Your character is just a guy playing golf with his buddies. You''ll have to advance several levels before you''re playing in tournaments. Until then, you''re just going to have to live with playing partners.

If you just want to play on tour and without partners, then make a new character and designate him as a pro rather then an amateur. Then you''ll start out on tour.

Nothing is wrong with the game. That''s the way it works.

Big thanks for the solution Quietly, yes i always create my player as Pro player, so i can go straight to the Tour.

LeOOooo, this is how you can create Pro player:
-----------------------------------------------

Go to TW08 game and go to: Change profile....Create golfer
On next screen you have option to change from Amateur to: Professional ( check the box Professional )...and click: Next....Give player a name and set difficulty ( Novice...intermediate....Advanced... )

The only thing i know is to change the resolution, maybe that will help a bit to enlarge the ball, but not much i think.

Just let me know when your tired of these question ;-)

Is there a way to edit cpu players or any way to make career cpu better...
Playing in novice I believe will get to easy to beat cpu..

I'm working on getting better at intermediate but it seams a 12 mile hr wind is twice as strong than in novice..

I hate when you aim 10yd to the rite of the fairway and you land 10yd to the left of it in the ruff.. And that was with a 12 mile hr wind... In novice it lands in the middle of the fairway..

No problem, you can ask questions, that is why we have the Forum.

There is a file you can download: Updated CPU Opponents ( by: bangus ), they will play better, you will find help on the link below:

When you want to edit the calender, then you have to do step 4 again ( see small tutorial career editor )

4. Click on the Create PGA button in the CEditor-Helper08 window

After you do step 4 the edited calender is imported in TW08, but to play the edited calender in TW08 you will have to create a new pro golfer again, and start playing from the beginning.
So for every modification you do in the calendar with career editor you will have to create a new pro golfer again, and you will have to start the tour again from the beginning.
So its very important to add all events carefully with career editor before you do step 4 ( import the caledar in TW08 ).
Its no problem to edit the calender and import it in TW08 again when you didn t create your pro player yet.
But once you created a pro player then the calendar can t be modified for that player.

Note: I think it is possible to created different calendars for 3 different players.
Example:

Create calendar 1, import it in TW08 and create new pro player1
Create calendar 2, import it in TW08 and create new pro player2
Create calendar 3, import it in TW08 and create new pro player3

Now you will have 3 pro players in TW08 with 3 different calendars ( it think that will work )

No that is not possible, once you started playing the tour then the calendar is locked for that player.
When you edit the calendar and add it in TW08, then you have to create a new player to see the edited calendar, so then you will have to restart the tour from the first event with that new player.

OK I got it.. Has anyone tried to add more than 12 mnth in career edit?

Ill probably try it anyhow. BUT before I go over 12mnth Ill create my tour and back up before I try cause this could take awhile.

I can still get 36 events in.. Was hoping to recreate full 2025 tour.
already had to substitute 1... Could not find Pete Dye Stadium Course La Quinta, CA
used (Pete Dye Golf Club) Bridgeport, West Virginia

I am pretty sure it is not possible to have more then 12 month.
You are allowed 3 tournaments per month and 4 total Major tournaments in the editor if i remember correct.
we have CGX La Quinta CC 2015 ( by: CGX Design Team ) but maybe that is not the course you need ?

That mite be it

I was able to add all but 1 event... since that event is at the start then Ill just leave that one out.. and the app will not let you go past 12 mnth and 3 events per mnth...
