Hi,
Is there a guide of equipments for TW2008 on PC? There isn't a lot of info in game, and I'm trying to google with no luck. Thanks! |

I am not sure about offline play, but the equipment made a difference on online play.
For example when you use stiff flex shafts you will win some distance, but the ball direction will be a bit harder to control.
Also depends what level you play.....novice....intermediate...advanced or expert.
Not sure it will make any difference on Novice, but it made difference on expert level.
I played all available tours on expert level from 2005....until 2009, and equipment below gave me the best results on online play.
A lot of my teammates used the same equipment in TW08, you can find it in Gameface:
Nike CPR Extra Stiff Flex Shafts, King Cobra FP Irons, EA 1-Under Edition Wedges, King Cobra Speed LD F Driver, King Cobra Speed Pro Fairway Woods, Bridgestone B330-S

| Ok, thank you. I'll be for offline play, does it affect the CPU players on Novice if I give them different clubs? |

you can change the abilities for your own created player, when you want to play them in a custom game.
So for example you created a few custom players.
Now go to: Game modes....Custom game....and at the left side you will see all available players.
Add one of the players you created, and in the box Players type, set him to: Computer
Now a box will appear: computer ability
Click on computer ability and you can change his abilities
Note: this works only with players you created, you can t change the abilities of the players that came with the game |
