Can you you tell me what folder do you put the .dds file in on Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08 with windows 10
I've tried a few folders and the ball doesn't show up

Hiya popgun,
You have to look in Documents:
Documents\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Golfball
Inside the folder golfball you should find a few golf balls ( dds files)
Each golfball has a number, for example the EA Sports Golf Ball (1047.dds)
So it depends what golfball you are using in TW08, when you are using the EA Sports Golf Ball, then you have to rename the custom golf ball to 1047.dds, and overwrite the one that is in the folder Golfball.
Note: you can t see the custom golfball in Gameface, you will only see the custom ball when you play a game.

ok one last question how do i know what ball is what 1046.dds,1068.dds and so on
Also all i got is 1046,1068,1077,1081,1082,1085,1116,ball logo.dds and title.dds in that folder |

On the site below you can find a dds viewer
https://developer.nvidia.com/legacy-texture-tools
I think on that site you have to download the: DDS_viewer
After that look in the folder Golfball, the golfball you are using in the game should be there, together with a few others probably.
After you installed the DDS viewer you can dubble click on each dds file, and then you should see what golfball it is.

1046 = ea sports 1 piece action
1072 = precept u-tri extra distance
1073 = precept PWR drive
1074 = precept ladies extreme
1076 = dunlop loco dart
1077 = bridgestone b-330 -s
1078 = bridgestone E-5
1079 = bridgestone E-6
1080 = callaway hx pearl
1081 = callaway hx tour
1082 = callaway hx tour 56
1083 = dunlop loco motion
1085 = nike one black
1094 = precept lady- S 3 yellow |
