So I haven''t been around in a while. Honestly, I haven''t played much TW in a while either but recently got back into it. I was looking for a different sort of experience so I decided to recreate the LPGA schedule and the full field of LPGA pros to play a season against.

It''s a real challenge to play tourneys from the back tees while restricting yourself to a 4 or 5-wood as your driver (to simulate the typical ladies drive of about 250 yards)

Anyways, I found the games graphics a little dated so I started messing around with some of the presentation graphics to try to give the game more of a modern NBC golf channel feel (similar to what Rory McIlroy Pga Tour has)

One thing led to another and now I''ve done so much work that it occurred to me that while I was really just doing this for myself for fun, others might want some of the stuff I made for their games as well. I''m not quite done tweaking and finishing the menus just yet but I will try to upload it all for others when it''s done, if there''s interest.

I''m not quite sure whether to release it as one big group of files (an LPGA Tour conversion of the game, with new menu graphics, a custom season and some custom LPGA golfers) or maybe just release the different pieces separately. Also, it occurs to me that some people might want this stuff, but without the LPGA brand as part of it.

If anyone has any thoughts on what might be the best way to release it, or if anyone is even interested in downloading any of this, let me know. :)

Here are a few preview images:

You do Beautiful work. I would vote for separate downloads. I would like to try them all but have the choice to remove ones I didn't want.

Very nice work, great job.
I agree with Yooperbacker, seperate downloads are best option in my opinion.

I might be wrong, but i see one problem, pic nr 7 you posted:
--------------------------------------------------------------
You replaced the hexagon logo with a golfball logo, which looks great.
But all custom courses are uploaded to Coursedownloads with the hexagon logo in the zipfile, so when they are installed with TWCaddie08 then it will show the hexagon logo, i don t see how it will show the Golfball logo. As i said i might be wrong, but i think you can only see the golfball logo, when the golfball logo is already inside the uploaded zipfile.
But no doubt, you did great job, looks very good.

The hexagon logo comes from the logo.dds file in every course directory. I just made a new logo.dds for every course and dropped it in the folder, overwriting the old logo.

Upon release of this project, it will likely be one large file folder with nested subfolders of all the folders/subfolders of the TW08 folders/directorys. Just drag and drop the whole thing into the main TW08 directory and it will overwrite all the files to convert to the updated look, including the course logos and splash screens.

I decided to redo all the splash screens as well, in order to better accomodate the golf channel style presentation. I used a screenshot from the Rory McIlroy PgaTour game as a reference:

The plan was to do all the course logos/splashes for the LPGA courses that I was using for the season, plus all the stocks and then include the template file for both the new logo and splash designs so people could convert any other courses they wished.

If The game graphics improve for stock courses and custom courses. I'm all for it,
but if the download's over write TW08...not so much. The pics you posted look great.

The Logos and Splash screen look great , the golf ball Logos would also help finding course faster in game set up , but Daw8 surely the graphics can only be made better with sweet fx { ask jo summer he`s an expert on this stuff } those course graphics shown here are surley from Rory McKilroy`s PGA Tour?

dawg8 - I use a program called Generic Mod Enabler (JSGME) that lets you add mods and it still leaves the original ones in place. You can enable a mod and see how it works and if you don't like it or you want to just remove it you just disable it using JSGME.
I use it with TW 08. I have it add a Score & Text mod, different colored lines on the green mod, a blimp and different Wind Arrows mod.
You have to know how to find the main Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 folder and know how to create folders.

mod means modification.
