Is there a way to have all cores of the CPU working with Tiger Woods 2008 ?
I checked with the resources monitor of my computer and only one core is busy playing Tiger Woods.
On FSX there is an « affinity mask » that we can write in the cfg to use all cores of FSX.
Has someone tried this with Tiger Woods 08 ?

Since no one answered your question ...
There would be no benefit at all to run TW08 with 4 cores, besides that it's not supported by the game engine. A current mid-range graphics card + a shader-suite ... Reshade 3, Master Effect Reborn ... will have the most impact on 60+ framerate and - for a 10 year old game - awesome graphics.

Jo,
I agree that the Reshade 3 makes the game look so much better. At the same time, there seems to be a price to pay; namely, the videos are black, the splash screen shots of the courses are invisible and the player shots become EA player blanks.
Is there a way around these problems? Thanks for your great service to this community. |

Black screen - 3-click problem
The screen is freezing while the 3-click meter indicator is moving, so is the depth buffer what is probably causing graphics issues with injected shaders. Perhaps there's a workaround somewhere in the reshade forums.
Older versions of SweetFx (1.4 I think), another shader suite, worked with 3-click as far as I remember.
Not sure what could cause the invisible splash screen shots, player issue.
