I always see in the shout box that there are many members saying Thank You to the designers, so I thought it might be a good time to just say thanx to all the designers, so I searched the forum for Thank You and I found a good list but I was pretty amazed at the last entry.. 2015, and before that, I posted one in 2011. Well let me say this about that. WOW! 6 years ago is unacceptable. I want to say Thank You once again to all the designers. Its 2017 and we still get between 300 & 400 downloads for each design, not bad for a PC game going on 10 years old. I look at the last CGX Design and there are over 500 downloads, not bad.
My feelings from 6 years ago are the same. We would be non-existent without the designers, the admins and the many members that continue to support CDL. Thank You All Very Much! Don''''t forget to donate and keep this site up and running. edintampa 2017

Yup well said Ed, we must try to keep [IMO]the best golf game of them all going, i have just revamped an old PC and run in Windows XP, i will soon make a course that will be a challenge to represent the way an average amatuer Club Golfer would play a course.
One example being not being able to hit long par 5 holes easily in 2 shots.
May be the option of putting in 36 greeens as well to give variety , i did this once with a course i did called test 36 :( not that good but it is playable .

I agree! without this site and all the developers and program enhancers this game would have died out long ago and it would be a shame because it is just awesome. Thank you to all!!! |

| I'd like to say thanks too. I've rediscovered the game (TW08) after such a long time and am enjoying the fun challenging mechanics and huge library of courses. Just got time for one more round! |

I also would like to THANK all the designers. And of course TruBlu for keeping the site going. As well as Gunpower61/Pat...what a great administer for the site. One thing I would like to say about the site, is that since I joined in 07, I do not belive the site look and feel have changed. Todays website change every 20 seconds lol. I love the fact the site has not changed. It is so user friendly. THNAKS TruBlu and Pat.
To Argon on creating a course that you can not reach the par 5 in two shots...sounds great.
I have created an avatar with only 40% attributies this makes it more competive and fun playing aginst the stock players that came with TW08....later all. |

Thanks all for the kind words.
I still have the energy to be administrator on Coursedownloads for many more years.
And there is no sign TruBluMich will close the site, so with some luck we can do another 10 years lol.
So i say big thanks to all course and library designers, and the Utility designers ( Custom golfers etc....)
Also big thanks to all members, we all need each other on the site.
Not only Coursedownloads, but also big thanks all other sites, some are in our Community links section, they are creating TW08 tourneys and playing on Teamspeak etc, they also keep TW08 alive.
