A friend just got new PC and it has Win 7 (64bit) and he has TW caddie Vista (64). I also have Win7 (64) with the same Caddie and it works fine for me. He keeps getting an access denied error when trying to install courses. We have tried everything as far as administrative permissions and other things I have read on the forum but nothing is working for him. He has sent me a Screen shot from his desktop of his error which I will try and put with this message. He also gets another error following this one which says "unhandled exception" Any help will be greatly appreciated. |

A similar message with help on link below: http://www.coursedownloads.com/forum/posts.asp?post=8675&forum=32
To install TWCaddie08 correct: As JBCalg said, first downloaded the TWCaddie program zipfile to a folder. After that unzip or extract the downloaded TWCaddie program zipfile, and after that run the extracted Setup file. You can t run the setup file straight from the zipfile.
Also be sure to run TWCaddie08 as administrator on Vista or Win7:

Ok, first thing he was right clicking on TW Caddie.EXE file and clicking run as administrator but this would only allow Caddie to open. In the lise of courses and libraries there was no courses showing. He tried to install custom course and still nothing. He then went to the TW Caddie.EXE and right clicked it and hit properties then compatabilty and clicked run ad administrator on there and it works fine now. Thanks! |
